This chapter examines the evidence of efficacy in pharmacological and psychological treatment those with ASPD good-quality trials for finds that such is lacking. Military veterans frequently experience traumatic, highly stressful events; thus, it is especially important for them to find positive ways of making meaning from these experiences. The present study used the methods narrative personality psychology investigate associations between veterans' processing and significant events their military service postdischarge functioning, including posttraumatic stress symptoms (PTSS). United States (N = 154; M age 64.28 years, 86.4% men, 57.8% deployed) completed an online survey in which they wrote narratives about one "highly stressful" "key scene" memory questionnaires assess PTSS, depression anxiety, functional impairment, well-being. Narratives were coded personal growth experience, themes agency interpersonal communion, affective tone, coherence. In narratives, small-to-moderate negative emerged both impairment; was also modestly positively associated with contrast, tone communion each only outcome, coherence none, key scene not linked any mental health outcomes. These findings suggest that (1) theory identity research are relevant studying trauma (2) who narrate themselves as growing exerting control over most experiences may achieve better day-to-day functioning.

This chapter reviews what is known about the interpersonal style of people with antisocial personality and psychopathy, concluding that individuals have a cold, vindictive hostile they lack motivation to engage in an empathic way others. Objetivo. Analizar la producción de significados en posicionamientos generados transiciones educación media a universidad pandemia. Método. A largo transición, interjuego las relaciones movilizó desplazamiento estudiante principiante, veterano futuro profesional. En este proceso, interpretaciones sí mismo modificaron reflexividad, generando cambios agencialidad participativa transformación autoral espacios compartidos. pandemia, ambivalencias entre incertidumbres presentes discontinuidades pasado produjeron posicionamiento yo universitario aislado, transformando intentos intermitentes autocuidado, rutina formación educativas atravesadas por esas crisis transformaron liminalidades, son rupturas espacio-temporales cotidianidad desplazada al Conclusión. BACKGROUND Social media is an integral part of human social life. More than 90% young people use daily. Current theories, models, and measures are primarily based on face-to-face conceptions, leaving research out sync with current trends. This may lead to imprecise diagnoses predictions. OBJECTIVE To develop a theoretically empirical model interfaces inform relevant measures. METHODS A three-stage, qualitative, data-collection approach included anonymous individual Post-it notes, three full-class discussions, 10 focus groups explore 82 adolescents’ relational practices. Data analysis followed meaning-condensation procedure field-correspondence technique. RESULTS We developed that categorizes interactions into five experiential positions. Four positions result from trajectories relating interaction. Positions described by match or mismatch dynamics between preferred actual platforms used. In matched positions, individuals prefer both (position 1), 2), 3). mismatched but 4) 5). propose indicate good functioning while serious challenges. CONCLUSIONS will expand previous unidimensional interaction constructs, we hypothesize the analyses provide conceptual clarity for practical application. discuss prediction value, implications, validation procedures.
