Comparing the functional traits of co‐occurring native and invasive plant species can offer insight regarding mechanisms invasion. Previous studies have failed to reach a consensus, indicating that extent trait differences between invasives might depend on environmental context spatial grain analysis. Here we evaluate scale‐dependency native–invader comparisons within Hawaiian Archipelago, globally important region high endemicity invasibility.
