Abstract Purpose This study investigates whether men who engage in dual harm while imprisoned are disproportionately involved committing misconduct during a 1‐year follow‐up period. It also examines is significantly associated with future involvement misconduct, when other known risk factors for considered, and this relationship varies depending on the type of examined. Methods Drawing administrative records 430 were period, combination descriptive statistics negative binominal regressions was used to analyse data. Results Roughly one‐in‐four engaged responsible over half all incidents recorded A significant between harm, as well violence‐only compared no observed even considered but only violent disorder‐related demonstrating varied by history Conclusion These findings address previous gaps knowledge, advancing our understanding misconduct.
