Ethical issues raised in the care of the elderly during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and possible solutions for the future: a systematic review of qualitative scientific literature

The
COVID-19
pandemic
has
led
governments
worldwide
to
make
ethically
controversial
decisions.
As
a
result,
healthcare
professionals
are
facing
several
ethical
dilemmas,
especially
in
terms
of
services
provided
senior
citizens.
Thus,
the
aim
this
review
is
identify
and
categorize
dilemmas
as
well
propose
solutions
regarding
health
care
for
elderly
individuals.
A
qualitative
systematic
literature
was
undertaken
first
tier
pandemic.
All
identified
scientific
editorial
articles
published
English
or
French
between
December
2019
October
2021
were
included.
An
article
excluded
if
it
commercial,
did
not
address
an
issue
present
any
data.
Article
eligibility
determined
through
process
triangulation
among
three
independent
reviewers.

our
inclusion
criteria
selected
review.
These
studies
can
be
divided
into

distinct
categories:

However,
due

quantity

from

The
mortality
rates
among
critically
ill
patients
with
COVID-19

Background
Studies
investigating
the
manifestations
of
stigma
on
nurses
during
COVID-19
pandemic
in
Indonesia

limited.

BACKGROUND:

Factors influencing nursing students’ care intentions toward emerging infectious diseases patients: A descriptive-predictive study

Purpose:
