Purpose: As coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and other emerging infectious diseases continue to threaten health security, a strategy is required increase nursing students’ care intention for patients with such diseases. This study aimed identify factors influencing Korean intentions in regard diseases.Methods: The intention, COVID-19 knowledge level, ethical sensitivity, beliefs, attitudes toward the subjective norms, perceived behavioral control were investigated using theory of planned behavior. An online survey was completed from December 2020 January 2021 by 227 students who had complete clinical practicum. Descriptive statistics, correlation, hierarchical regression analyses conducted on data.Results: higher men than women junior senior students. The COVID-19 pandemic has led governments worldwide to make ethically controversial decisions. As a result, healthcare professionals are facing several ethical dilemmas, especially in terms of services provided senior citizens. Thus, the aim this review is identify and categorize dilemmas as well propose solutions regarding health care for elderly individuals. A qualitative systematic literature was undertaken first tier pandemic. All identified scientific editorial articles published English or French between December 2019 October 2021 were included. An article excluded if it commercial, did not address an issue present any data. Article eligibility determined through process triangulation among three independent reviewers. Initially, 69 met our inclusion criteria selected review. These studies can be divided into 2 distinct categories: (17 studies) expert opinion (52 articles). However, due large quantity data that extracted, only results from presented here. analysis 17 allowed emergence main themes dilemmas: 1) access (3 subthemes: A) triage decisions admission, B) intensive unit C) vaccine allocation) 2) infection control (2 (D) isolation E) autonomy). Abstract The emergence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) has brought pressure and challenges to nurses worldwide. This study aims understand the lived experiences in overcoming when delivering care for patients with COVID‐19 Indonesia. employed a phenomenological research design. researchers purposely selected nine who provided at an urban public hospital Yogyakarta, Indonesia, between September December 2020. conducted face‐to‐face interviews participants. interview data transcriptions were analyzed using Colaizzi's analysis. providing can be summarized into three themes: (1) getting caught unprepared, (2) understanding adapting new working situation, (3) finding meaning nursing profession. suggested that overcame difficulties caring by multidimensional culturally informed coping strategies. Hospital managers policymakers need consider relevant strategies (i.e., religious‐based strategies) supporting healthcare providers during health emergencies.

The mortality rates among critically ill patients with COVID-19 have been high. national and institutional infection control policies resource shortages caused by the pandemic led to undergo deaths without dignity inevitably changed intensive care unit (ICU) end-of-life (EOLC) practices. This study explores ICU nurses' experiences of providing EOLC for who died. Eight nurses participated in a qualitative phenomenological study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted from July September 2022. Colaizzi's data analysis method was used, following four main themes emerged: (i) only companion death journey; (ii) helping families prepare death; (iii) trapped within framework; (iv) retrospect. To secure high-quality ICU, it is important promote practical support EOLC-related discussions/education. Technical support, such as digital communication technologies, should be reinforced help their participate EOLC.

Background Studies investigating the manifestations of stigma on nurses during COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia are still limited. Moreover, previous studies have primarily focused directly involved care. Objective This study aims to thoroughly explore sources and spectrum manifestations—enacted, anticipated, internalized—experienced by Indonesian working across different levels healthcare urban rural settings pandemic. Methods A qualitative descriptive using semistructured interviews was conducted. Thirty-three who worked area Jakarta areas West Kalimantan participated. Data analysis carried out framework method. Nurses on the front line of facing COVID-19 pandemic have applied many coping strategies to adapt their experienced physical and psychosocial challenges. This review aimed identify nurses in face Covid-19. In this meta-synthesis review, qualitative articles related published English Google Scholar, PubMed, Web Science, ScienceDirect, CINAHL databases were selected analyzed. The showed used various that can be categorized into one main theme, two themes, ten sub-themes. theme efficient includes sub-themes spiritual-religious coping, protective (protection family members colleagues), supportive by obtaining support from family, friends, colleagues, society, government organizations, committed positive mind emotional operational fun coping. inefficient avoidance risky behaviors. lead synthesis bipolar during pandemic. Therefore, healthcare policymakers should emphasize using avoiding ones.

BACKGROUND: Higher education institution (HEI) has created professional identity, and the characteristics of profession have taught. HEI can also create a strong brand image in minds public that convey core values distinguishe them from others. However, perception Islamic characters remains limited to exploration among Bachelor nursing students, especially private Indonesia. AIM: This study explores perceived by students two METHODOLOGY: A descriptive qualitative was performed, 13 were recruited through purposive sampling. Within 30–45 min, in-depth interview conducted face-to-face WhatsApp video calls. For data analysis, NVivo 12TM Plus Colaizzi methods used. RESULTS: The analysis found themes: (1) Finding meaning identity; (2) providing Islamic-based care.
