Abstract Neuropeptide F (NPF) and short neuropeptide (sNPF) are important neuropeptides mainly affect feeding behaviour of insects. However, the regulation insect by NPF sNPF appears to differ between species, it is not clear how regulate food intake brown planthopper ( Nilaparvata lugens ). Therefore, functions in regulating affecting growth antioxidant levels N. fed on host rice plants were investigated knocking down respectively simultaneously both them RNA interference. The results showed that expressed head , increased after knocked down, which was reflected prolonged duration N4a N4b waves electrical penetration graph (EPG) experiment . In addition, led increase body weight mortality also level So concluded could intake, maintain stability oxidative balance Our study clarified molecular mechanism

Meloidogyne graminicola represents a significant pathogen of rice, with considerable variability in nematode resistance observed across rice germplasms. However, the gene regulatory networks and molecular mechanisms underlying differential responses resistant susceptible cultivars to M. infection remain poorly understood. To identify potential sources resistance, 122 indica were screened under controlled conditions based on gall formation infected roots. Notably, Indian accession 685 exhibited exceptional characterized by complete suppression development within root tissue. investigate infection, RNA sequencing was conducted analyze expression profiles at 5 days post-inoculation (dpi) cultivar 685, moderately 1008, 9311. Subsequent analysis weighted co-expression network (WGCNA) identified key biological pathways, including sugar metabolism, autophagic degradation, phytohormone signal transduction. Additionally, candidate hub genes validated through RT-qPCR. This study offers new insights into rice–M. interactions, highlighting critical factors involved susceptibility host plants.
