Global warming affects crop growth and development, threatening food security. As one of the essential crops, rice is severely affected by high temperature stress, which compromises both its yield quality. Therefore, gaining a deep understanding molecular mechanisms responds to heat stress breeding varieties that are tolerant such crucial for maintaining This review summarizes impacts on quality-related traits at different development stages rice, perception response improvement in heat-tolerant using existing superior alleles/QTLs.
