Between 2018 and 2024, the global market has experienced significant advancements in sensor technologies for monitoring patients’ health conditions, which have demonstrated a pivotal role diagnostics, treatment monitoring, healthcare optimization. Progress microelectronics, device miniaturization, wireless communication facilitated development of sophisticated sensors, including wearable devices such as smartwatches fitness trackers, enabling real-time key parameters. These are widely employed across clinical settings, nursing care, daily life to collect critical data on vital signs, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate. Asthma is a chronic lung disease characterized by reversible bronchoconstriction and inflammation of the bronchi. Its increasing prevalence in childhood as well different triggers make asthma challenging several ways: defining its phenotype/endotype, diagnostic approach (especially younger children), therapeutic options, systematic follow-up. Abstract Pediatric asthma management is a compelling challenge for every pediatrician. Different aspects require attention and definition. Abstract Background Fatigue is a commonly reported clinical symptom, yet research on fatigue in children with severe asthma missing. We aimed to explore the extent of pediatric and identify associated factors. Method This study was conducted within Pediatric Asthma Non‐Invasive Diagnostic Approaches (PANDA), an observational cohort 6‐ 17‐year‐old Dutch asthma.
