class
of

and

a
pivotal
role

environmental
responses.
Despite
extensive
studies
numerous
species,
functions

remain
largely
unknown.
In
this
study,
we
performed
systematic
identification,
characterization,
expression
analysis
genes
cotton.
A
total
514,
509,
914
were
identified
Gossypium
arboretum,
G.
raimondii,
hirsutum,
respectively.
Duplication
indicates
that
segmental
duplication
may
be
primary
mechanism
responsible
for
expansion
gene
family.
Moreover,
Ka/Ks
suggests
these
duplicated
have
undergone
purifying
selection
throughout
evolutionary
history
Notably,
393
hirsutum
exhibited
differential
response
to
salt
stress.

For

protein)

Abstract
For
winter
wheat
in
the
US
Central
Great
Plains,
phenotypic
plasticity
of
yield
is
agronomically
adaptive,
i.e.
,
genotypes
with
higher
have
high
yielding
environments
no
tradeoff
stressful,
low
environments.
Using
data
from
variety
trials
conducted
between
2000
and
2022
cultivars
released
1967
2022,
we
explored
time
trends
heritability
yield.

hypothesize
that
