Haptic technology has transformed interactions between humans and both tangible virtual environments. Despite its widespread adoption across various industries, the potential therapeutic applications of this have yet to be fully explored. A systematic review randomized controlled trials (RCTs) crossover was conducted, utilizing databases such as PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web Science. This included studies reporting clinical haptic in rehabilitation, cognition, wellness, mental health among adult subjects. 34 studies, which 20 focused on outcomes 14 learning skills. The results showed that devices, robotic non-robotic, enhance sensorimotor performance motor function rehabilitation settings, especially post-stroke recovery, with reported effect sizes ranging from 0.2 0.7. majority technologies were integrated into systems (40%). devices also improve skills training by providing tactile feedback enhances procedural trainee self-efficacy. Understanding the interplay between interoception and emotional regulation is critical for advancing occupational therapy practices autistic children adolescents.
