Improving educational quality is a universal concern. Despite efforts made in this regard, learning outcomes have not improved sufficiently. Therefore, further investigation needed on issue, adopting new perspectives (conceptual and analytical) to facilitate the understanding design of effective actions. The objective study was determine influence executive functions (considering both cognitive affective processes) their interactions Language Literature Mathematics Spanish students, through use artificial intelligence, based machine approach, more specifically, decision tree technique. Abstract Even though Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) has become a central domain in education, there is still lack of clarity the underlying conceptual models guiding educational efforts insufficient empirical evidence supporting these models. The Chilean Agency for Quality Education developed socioemotional questionnaire as part Comprehensive Diagnosis (DIA), administered institutions nationwide. Its model considers nine SEL competencies structured into three dimensions: Individual, Communal, Civic, mapping onto curriculum learning goals relative to SEL. this was built based on thorough revision existing approaches assessment tools, dimensional structure not been empirically tested. This study explores large‐scale sample students assessed through DIA (882,553 7 th– 12 th graders). Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) confirmatory (CFA) were conducted determine structure, also testing invariance by level (basic vs. secondary education) gender.
