Abstract. The wide availability of geospatial data from different sources makes it necessary to create systems that are able use and integrate the generate added value. We propose a system architecture following FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) state-of-the-art methodologies for server-side web-based application performs virtual integration over implement information standards. extends mediator-wrapper design pattern with additional components provide flexibility modularity, much needed modern web applications. is composed mask, which acts as interface towards external users; mediator handles processing logic; set wrappers communicate sources; persistent storage flexible configuration metadata capabilities system; messaging queue enabling asynchronous processing. At same time, architecture’s divided into four layers, each one specific role: presentation, configuration, processing, communication.

Digital Twins for cities represent a new trend urban and geospatial fields. Currently, some DTs implementations are taking place. Nevertheless, the whole concept remains ambiguous presents differences that need to be addressed. The aim of this article is bridge gap between definitions current implementations. This review was conducted through scientific literature an online survey. study collects compares them with related concepts used jointly in literature. It puts together in-depth analysis since they express similarities various discrepancies. As our highlights most documented initiatives according 9 comprehensive categories, approach assessing proposed evaluate data integration methods realizations. Three levels suggested: conceptual schema model-based level (the integrated into top DT, i.e., extending model cover features or themes); database-based (data order feed update specific attributes classes); application-based application generally at viewer level).

The accurate assessment of proper value in complex and increasingly high-rise urban environments is a significant challenge. Previous research has identified property as composite indoor elements, such volume height, 3D simulations the outdoor environment, including variables view, noise, pollution. These have been preliminary performed taxation context; however, there no work addressing simulation valuation. In this paper, we propose an IFC-CityGML data integration approach for valuation develop workflow based on 3.0 to simulate model at Level Information Need. We evaluate by testing it two variables, daylight unit cost. Our proposed aims improve accuracy integrating from providing standardized efficient modeling using IFC CityGML. represents solid base future works toward extension.

Abstract A visual inspection, which entails field surveying, such as photodocumentation and footage, is the first step of a multi-level approach to bridge health assessment. Furthermore, use surface models, CAD drawings, orthophotos, guarantees complete accurate documentation, thus allowing for better understanding environment, anthropic structures, their relationships. All georeferenced surveys’ outputs are especially advisable within prespective periodical monitoring, forseen by national legislation. The work aimed study two adjacent bridges over Arno River in Lastra Signa, Italy. One bridges, Ponte nuovo sull’Arno, an overpass motor vehicles. other one, called Passarella pedestrian viaduct. topographic reference network has been settled using GNSS survey technique. 3D point clouds have acquired performing Laser Scanning survey. bathymetric carried out acquire cloud submerged bridges’ parts riverbed. Through Photogrammetric from RPAS, orthophoto area built. Finally, evidence historical structures identified thanks multi beam work’s objective integrate surveying geomatics techniques create reliable surrounding area, riverbed, support most common structural assessment methods.

Abstract. This paper introduces Property Valuation Application Domain Extension (ADE) within CityGML 3.0, aiming to integrate relevant indoor and outdoor 3D variables (cost estimation, view quality, etc.) for accurate property valuation. Current models lack the necessary features this specific application. Leveraging IFC data elements, ADE extends CityGML, addressing existing gap. identifies categorizes requirements, leading conceptualization development of model. By enriching 3.0 with data, approach new like "Property Unit" ensure adaptability across diverse valuation scenarios. Despite encountering integrability challenges, we here commit refining model overcoming these obstacles. A preliminary implementation using CityJSON demonstrates successful integration paves way future implementation. These include developing an API platform establishing official repository facilitate practical usability scalability. research significantly contributes advancing processes by providing valuations stakeholders promoting use urban in domain-specific extensions.

Oblique photography 3D models are increasingly used in modeling and visualization, urban planning design, smart cities, mines, other fields. To ensure that can be replaced updated, it is necessary to deal with the model holes incomplete areas caused by incorrect matching of feature points process. Moreover, management certain mining or developed, regions also delineated for replacements updates. Due unsatisfactory display effect manually modeled replace update, authenticity texture detail characteristics triangle meshes cannot guaranteed during integration. Therefore, this paper proposes a mesh integration method oblique data which integrates real complete replacement part original needs replaced. The experimental results show integrate terrain efficiently quickly, integrated has no gap, good, effectively achieving repair update replacement.
