Flavonoids are secondary metabolites that beneficial to life activities and mainly concentrated in buds leaves the form of glycosides. Flavonoid glycosides have important effects on properties quality tea plants. Research has shown abundance flavonoid varies greatly among different cultivars, but research regulatory mechanisms cause their differential accumulation plant cultivars with leaf colors is lacking. In this study, an integrated analysis metabolomics transcriptomics was conducted determine networks regulating astringency color-related flavonoids diverse colors. A total five anthocyanidins, four catechins, nine flavonol were found partially contribute differences taste color Furthermore, 15 MYB genes 5 Dof identified as potential regulators controlling expression eight key structural genes, resulting specific compounds, including epicatechin (EC), catechin (C), cyanidin, cyanidin 3-O-glucoside, pelargonidin quercetin These findings provide insights into development utilization resources from plants
