Spartina alterniflora (S. alterniflora) was introduced into China in the 1980s to control coastal erosion. However, it has significant negative impacts on wetlands by encroaching habitat of native plant communities, which seriously threatened wetland function and biodiversity maintenance. The core area Migratory Bird Sanctuaries along Coast Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf taken as study GF-2 remote sensing images from 2017, 2019 2020 were selected this study. To meet Kunming‐Montreal Target 6 of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), we argue that more comprehensive measures are needed to manage invasive alien species (IAS), which is especially true for China, given it undergoing an unprecedented wave invasions due its rapid development. Here, consider status IAS in evaluate China's ongoing countermeasures against IAS, and provide recommendations improving management. In total, 802 have been identified China. Facing growing threats China has made progress management, but stringent thorough still required. addition legislation governance, should strengthen transdisciplinary proactive research, implement prevention control actions enhance international cooperation translational education. By creating a model management other countries can follow, efforts contribute substantially CBD's 2030 Global Targets.
