Viral
muscle
soreness
(VMS)
is
a
common
feature
during
acute
viral
infections,
including

caused
by
enteroviruses,
and

substantially
diminishes

quality
of

Abstract
All
organisms

death

mechanisms

unclear.

we
investigated
molecular
