Abstract When implemented in practice, digital technologies have shown improvements morbidity and mortality outcomes patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD). For scholars, research into care has been relatively recent, thus it is important to understand the history of health technology research—its emergence, rate growth, hot topics, its temporal evolution. The aim this study was analyse more than 16,000 articles domain based on their scientometric indicators. Web Science (WoS) Core Collection accessed searched at several levels, including titles, abstracts, keywords, authors, sources individual articles. Analysis examined shifts scholarly focus networks collaboration, topical divisions relation technologies, influential publications. Findings showed area growing exponentially. Co-citation analysis revealed twenty prominent streams identified variation magnitude activities each stream. A recent emergence rehabilitation (CR), out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA), arrythmia also demonstrated. Conversely, wearable activity tracking electronic medical records are now past peak reported activity. Abstract Aim This narrative review explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into nursing informatics and examines its impact on practice, healthcare delivery, education, policy. Despite the increasing availability of telemedicine video visits during COVID-19 pandemic, older adults have greater challenges in getting care through telemedicine.We aim to better understand barriers community-dwelling improve access and experience virtual visits.We conducted a mixed methods needs assessment at two independent living facilities (sites A B) Northern California between September 2020 March 2021. Voluntary surveys were distributed. Semistructured interviews then with participants who provided contact information. Surveys ascertained participants' preferred devices as well comfort level, support, top regarding telephonic visits. Qualitative analysis transcribed identified key themes.Survey respondents' (N=249) average age was 84.6 (SD 6.6) years, 76.7% (n=191) female. At site A, 88.9% (111/125) had bachelor's degree or beyond, 99.2% (124/125) listed English their language. B, 42.9% (51/119) 13.4% (16/119) English, while 73.1% (87/119) Mandarin. Regarding visits, 36.5% (91/249) all felt comfortable connecting health team barriers, reported not knowing how connect platform (30/125, 24%), being familiar technology (28/125, 22.4%), having difficulty hearing (19/125, 15.2%), whereas for able speak (65/119, 54.6%), lack familiarity internet (44/119, 36.9%), interest seeing providers outside clinic (42/119, 35.3%). The use of digital technologies within health care rapidly increased as services transferred to web-based platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic. Inequalities in across domains equity are not routinely examined; yet, long-term integration digitally delivered needs consider such inequalities ensure equitable benefits.This scoping review aimed map inequities access, use, and engagement with domains.We searched 4 electronic databases (MEDLINE, ASSIA, PsycINFO, Scopus) for quantitative mixed methods reviews meta-analyses published between January 2016 May 2022. Reviews were limited those that included studies from World Health Organization's European region. Extracted data mapped against Cochrane's PROGRESS PLUS (place residence, race, ethnicity, culture, language, occupation, gender sex, religion, education, socioeconomic status, social capital, other characteristics) dimensions equity.In total, 404 unique citations identified searches, 2 sources. After eligibility assessment, 22 included. Consistent evidence was found showing higher access among patients who White English speaking, had no disability. There explored differences by age, or homeless substance misuse. Higher observed populations White, younger, a level economic residents urban areas. No clear disability, misuse found, nor on technologies.
