Incarcerated individuals with mental illness face unique health challenges, yet we know little about who are detained by US immigration authorities. For a long time, the penalty of imprisonment has been studied and criticized as ineffective in achieving goals resocialization rehabilitation offenders, studies have associated incarceration with increased prevalence disease. In response to COVID-19 pandemic, World Health Organization recommended decarceration prevention measure. The aim this review was analyze effectiveness non-exposure preventing mitigating events.
