Background: Lower limb length discrepancy (LLD) in children and adolescents, often due to congenital or acquired conditions, is treated achieve equality alignment, optimizing function minimizing cosmetic concerns for an active adulthood. This study evaluated the Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) physical functioning adults who underwent unilateral lengthening with circular external fixators (EFs) childhood. Methods: Fifty patients at a median age 14.9 years completed Short Form 36 (SF-36) Stanmore Limb Reconstruction Score (SLRS) questionnaires adulthood, follow-up 8.9 years. Results: Among 50 patients, 38 single (21 tibia, 12 femur, 5 both), while required multiple cycles. The residual LLD was 0.4 cm, (24%) having over 2 cm. Complications occurred 67% procedures, mainly prolonged healing. Physical mental health scores were significantly lower than normative data. mean Component Summary 52.2 ± 7.2 (p = 0.20). Mental 43.9 8.6 0.001), notably cases. Many SLRS items (Pain, Social, Function, Work, Emotions) strongly correlated SF-36 items. Conclusions: highlights challenges treating LLD, emphasizing significant impact, especially cases, necessity comprehensive long-term care strategies. These findings suggest that future therapeutic strategies should focus on both psychological outcomes improve overall recovery treatment.

Abstract Background Health systems need tools to assess patient’s experience of service, but existing lack reliability and validity assessment. Our aim is investigate the factor structure, reliability, validity, item parameters interpretability parent version Experience Service Questionnaire (ESQ) for practical use in Greece. Methods A total 265 caregivers that were using mental health services Greece participated this study as part Nationwide cross-sectional survey from Child Adolescent Mental Initiative (CAMHI). Cancer-related pain represents one of the most common complaints cancer patients especially for those with advanced-stage disease and/or bone metastases. More effective therapeutic strategies are needed not only to improve survival but also relieve cancer-related pain. In last decade, immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-based immunotherapy targeting programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) and its ligand 1 (PD-L1) has revolutionized care. Beyond anticancer role, PD-1/PD-L1 axis pathway is involved in many other physiological processes. PD-L1 expression found both malignant tissues normal including dorsal root ganglion, spinal cord. Through interaction PD-1, can modulate neuron excitability, leading suppression inflammatory, neuropathic, Therefore, since intricate relationship between should be largely dissected, this comprehensive review explores complex PD-1/PD-L1-based It delves into potential mechanisms through which might pathways, neuroinflammation, neuromodulation, opioid mechanisms, Understanding these crucial developing future research directions order optimize management patients. Finally, article discusses role artificial intelligence (AI) advancing clinical practice context. AI-based strategies, such as analyzing large datasets creating predictive models, identify patterns correlations These tools assist healthcare providers tailoring treatment plans individual patients, ultimately improving outcomes quality life undergoing immunotherapy.

Background Chronic conditions are a significant public health concern due to their rising prevalence, association with high mortality, and substantial healthcare costs. General practitioners play crucial role in managing these conditions, quality indicators essential tools for assessing the of care.
