Tissue-resident memory T (TRM) cells are well reported as a strong protective first line of defense against foreign antigens in non-lymphoid tissues. Moreover, TRM have demonstrated critical roles antitumor immunity, contributing to enhanced survival and tumor growth inhibition across various cancer types. However, surprisingly, recent studies suggest that can exhibit paradoxical effects, potentially promoting progression under certain conditions leading adverse outcomes during immune responses. Understanding the complexities cell functions will enable us harness their potential advancing immunotherapy more effectively. Therefore, this review comprehensively investigates dual different contexts, highlighting combating cancers unfavorable exacerbate development. Additionally, we explore implications behaviors for future treatment strategies, emphasizing need further research optimize therapeutic exploitation while mitigating deleterious effects.

The progression of malignant tumors leads to the development secondary in various organs, including bones, brain, liver, and lungs. This metastatic process severely impacts prognosis patients, significantly affecting their quality life survival rates. Research efforts have consistently focused on intricate mechanisms underlying this corresponding clinical management strategies. Consequently, a comprehensive understanding biological foundations tumor metastasis, identification pivotal signaling pathways, systematic evaluation existing emerging therapeutic strategies are paramount enhancing overall diagnostic treatment capabilities for tumors. However, current research is primarily metastasis within specific cancer types, leaving significant gaps our complex cascade, organ-specific tropism mechanisms, targeted treatments. In study, we examine sequential processes elucidate driving organ-tropic systematically analyze tumors, those tailored organ involvement. Subsequently, synthesize most recent advances technologies challenges opportunities encountered pertaining bone metastasis. Our objective offer insights that can inform future practice crucial field.

Abstract Tissue‐resident memory T (T RM ) cells are crucial components of the immune system that provide rapid, localized responses to recurrent pathogens at mucosal and epithelial barriers. Unlike circulating cells, located within peripheral tissues, they play vital roles in antiviral, antibacterial, antitumor immunity. Their unique retention activation mechanisms, including interactions with local expression adhesion molecules, enable their persistence immediate functionality diverse tissues. Recent advances have revealed important chronic inflammation, autoimmunity, cancer, illuminating both protective pathogenic potential. This review synthesizes current knowledge on cells’ molecular signatures, maintenance pathways, functional dynamics across different We also explore other such as B macrophages, dendritic highlighting complex network underpins efficacy surveillance response. Understanding nuanced regulation is essential for developing targeted therapeutic strategies, vaccines immunotherapies, enhance while mitigating adverse effects.
