Understanding Nonlinear Collaboration between Human and AI Agents: A Co-design Framework for Creative Design

Creative
design
is
a
nonlinear
process
where
designers
generate
diverse
ideas
in
the
pursuit
of
an
open-ended
goal
and
converge
towards
consensus
through
iterative
remixing.
In
contrast,
AI-powered
tools
often
employ
linear
sequence
incremental
precise
instructions
to
approximate
objectives.
Such
operations
violate
customary
creative
practices
thus
hinder
AI
agents'
ability
complete
tasks.
To
explore
better
human-AI
co-design
tools,
we
first
summarize
human
designers'
formative
study
with
12
experts.
Taking
graphic
as
representative
scenario,
formulate
framework
develop
proof-of-concept
prototype,
OptiMuse.
We
evaluate
OptiMuse
validate
comparative
study.

Sharenting on TikTok: Exploring Parental Sharing Behaviors and the Discourse Around Children’s Online Privacy

Since
the
inception
of
social
media,
parents
have
been
sharing
information
about
their
children
online.
Unfortunately,
this
"sharenting"
can
expose
to
several
online
and
offline
risks.
Although
researchers
studied
sharenting
on
multiple
platforms,
short-form
video
platforms
like
TikTok—where
posts
contain
detailed
information,
spread
quickly,
spark
considerable
engagement—is
understudied.
Thus,
we
provide
a
targeted
exploration
TikTok.
We
analyzed
328
TikTok
videos
that
demonstrate
438

creators
discuss
norms.
Our
results
indicate
indeed
creates
risks
for
children,
not
only
within
individual
but
also
in
broader
patterns

people

create

using

language

an

part
of
DHH
culture.

creators

with
a
variety
modalities
when
creating
videos,

However,
hardly
any
work
has
comprehensively
addressed
creators'
multimodal
practices
the
lay
public's
reactions
taken
into
account.
In
this
paper,
we
systematically
analyzed
308
DHH-authored
videos
mixed-methods
approach,
focusing
on
TikTokers'
content,
practices,
pitfalls,
viewer
engagement.
Our
findings
highlight
that
while
voice
features
synchronous
voices
are
scant
challenging
TikTokers,
they
may
help
promote
