While the concept of responsible AI is becoming more and popular, practitioners researchers may often struggle to characterize practices in their own work. This paper presents a four-day, PhD-level course on Responsible Artificial Intelligence conducted at University Udine by Dr. Damiano Spina. Using hands-on approach, aimed illustrate application concepts research. case studies based existing IR research, explored such as positionality, participatory fairness, diversity, ethics. The engaged 23 participants, both online person, including PhD students various stages, postdoctoral researchers, professors, academic staff. It featured four sessions five interactive group activities. Of attendees, 20 (87%) actively participated activities, 14 (61%) completed final survey.
