Abstract Fossil fuel use is harming human health and the resulting climate change presents a risk that has arrived substantially sooner than anticipated. Frequent intense heat waves, storms, droughts wildfires are causing widespread cardiovascular disease, respiratory malnutrition childhood illness. Extreme weather events associated economic losses driving wave of migration; billions more people will be displaced over coming century. These effects being seen now result only 1.14°C warming. Greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise because increasing fossil we currently on track for 2.8–3.5°C warming by end The planet crossing dangerous tipping points, triggering positive feedback loops in planetary heating. There narrow window time during which action can prevent collapse ecosystem. Key Concepts accelerating bringing about events, flooding, forest fires drought vast suffering through cardiac maternal & illness, malnutrition, forced migration. Catastrophic impacts already at warming, greenhouse rise.

It examines five broad domains: hazards, exposures impacts; adaptation, planning resilience for health; mitigation actions co-benefits; economics finance; public political engagement. Food insecurity affects an estimated 691–783 million people globally and is disproportionately high in Africa Asia. It arises from poverty, armed conflict, climate change, among other demographic globalization forces. This review summarizes evidence for policies practices across five elements of the agrifood system framework identifies gaps that inform agenda future research. Under availability, imbalanced agriculture protect primarily staple food producers, there limited on security impacts smallholder women producers. Evidence supports use cash transfers aid affordability school feeding multiple benefits. Food-based dietary guidelines can improve nutritional quality patterns, yet they may not reflect latest or supplies. newer environment elements, promotion sustainability, while relatively minimal, provides insight into achieving long-term impacts. To eliminate hunger, our global community should embrace integrated approaches bring evidence-based to scale.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool in the management of pandemics, significantly enhancing disease prediction, diagnostics, drug discovery, and vaccine development. This manuscript explores AI's multifaceted applications during infectious outbreaks, from predictive modeling outbreak forecasting to acceleration development antimicrobial resistance detection. AI-driven technologies, including deep learning reinforcement learning, have shown remarkable effectiveness improving diagnostic accuracy, streamlining discovery processes, providing real-time decision-making support for healthcare providers. However, despite its substantial contributions, deployment AI pandemic faces key limitations, concerns about data privacy, model transparency, need constant updates adapt emerging pathogens. The integration with human expertise is essential optimize global health outcomes address these challenges. review highlights both potential obstacles fully leveraging response, proposing pathways overcoming current limitations maximizing impact on future outbreaks.

While energy transitions have always taken place, shifts historically been primarily from one type of fossil fuel to another (e.g., coal oil). Yet today we are experiencing away toward cleaner and sustainable sources. These include renewable energy, electric vehicles, pedestrian pathways more walkable cities, efficiency measures in the built environment, increased public transportation. This restructuring our system will bring impacts on health improved air quality lower use traditional gasoline-powered vehicles). Furthermore, transition can emissions greenhouse gases (GHGs), thereby helping slow climate change minimize its anticipated health. work is needed understand full implications these transitions, including for environmental justice terms who share benefits potential detriments such as brake wear existing literature indicates substantial Moving may offer a rare win-win strategy healthier society with environment GHGs.
