The alpha-glucosidase inhibitor is a common oral anti-diabetic drug used for controlling carbohydrates normally converted into simple sugars and absorbed by the intestines. However, some adverse clinical effects have been observed. present study seeks an alternative that can regulate hyperglycemia down-regulating alpha-amylase activity molecular docking approach to screen antagonist against activities from 47 natural compounds. data showed Curcumin, 16-hydroxy-cleroda-3,13-dine-16,15-olide (16-H), Docosanol, Tetracosanol, Antroquinonol, Berberine, Catechin, Quercetin, Actinodaphnine, Rutin compounds had binding ability towards as well. Curcumin better biding of than other Analyzed reveals compound inhibitors (below 0.5 mM) are 16-H, Catechin when compared commercial Acarbose (3 mM). A with includes Actinodaphnine/Tetracosanol, Quercetin (1 When taken together, implication fast effective way lead sources isolated medicinal plants.

Obesity-related oxidative stress, the imbalance between pro-oxidants and antioxidants (e.g., nitric oxide), has been linked to metabolic cardiovascular disease, including endothelial dysfunction atherosclerosis. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are essential for physiological functions gene expression, cellular growth, infection defense, modulating function. However, elevated ROS and/or diminished antioxidant capacity leading stress can lead dysfunction. Physical activity also results in an acute state of stress. it is likely that chronic physical provides a stimulus favorable adaptations enhanced performance health, although distinct responses aerobic anaerobic activities warrant further investigation. Studies support benefits dietary modification as well exercise interventions alleviating susceptibility. Since obese individuals tend demonstrate markers implications this population significant. Therefore, review our aim discuss (i) role inflammation associated with obesity-related diseases, (ii) potential concerns exercise-mediated (iii) advantageous modification, or caloric restriction vitamin D supplementation.

Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the protective role and underlying mechanisms curcumin on glycerol-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) in rats. Glycerol (10 ml/kg BW, 50% v/v sterile saline, i.m.) used induce AKI, followed by (200 mg/kg/day, p.o.) administration for 3 days. To confirm renal damage effects serum BUN, Scr, CK as well SOD, MDA, GSH-Px were measured. Additionally, morphological changes identified H&E staining transmission electron microscopy. expression several factors including chemotactic factor MCP-1, proinflammatory cytokines TNF-α IL-6, markers, Kim-1 Lipocalin-2 also assessed using q-PCR. Finally, cell apoptosis tissue detected situ TUNEL fluorescence proteins associated with apoptotic, oxidative stress lipid related signaling pathways immunohistochemical western blot. results showed that exerts renoprotective inhibiting rhabdomyolysis-induced AKI through regulation AMPK Nrf2/HO-1 pathways, ameliorated RM-associated activating PI3K/Akt pathway.
