Stress is a major problem among university students due to the circumstances from internal as well external such relationship problems, low self-confidence, and academic pressure. We administered self-report questionnaires acquired peripheral physiological signals observe effectiveness of brief mindfulness-based intervention (MI) in improving relaxation thus reducing stress. It was found that skin conductance (SC) showed significant change with p=0.0016 after MI unlike blood volume pulse (BVP) respiratory rate (RR), even though both were be slightly better than before during resting states Stroop Task. SC can potential indicator for helping student subjects cope stress improve their attention levels.

Auto Train Brain is a neurofeedback-based mobile application that increases reading comprehension and speed in dyslexia with EMOTIV EPOC-X which has 14 channels. The clinical trials have been completed on beforehand. left hemisphere-related deficits are known dyslexia. In this research, we investigated the positive long-term effects of to improve cognitive abilities dyslexic people based measurements variance gamma band sample entropy across neurofeedback sessions. previous research indicates increase shows increased adaptations functional networks. 14-channel temporal lobe (T7) over right (T8) may be translated as networks region after 100 sessions neurofeedback.

EEG neurofeedback (EEG-NFB) is a promising tool for the treatment of depressive disorders. However, many methods presentation neurobiological reactions are available and it widely unknown which these feedback options preferrable. Moreover, influence motivation on NFB training success insufficiently studied. This study analyzed efficacy novel protocol (FC3/Pz) based findings in depression. The role four (Rumination, Anxiety, Meditation Master, Moving Art) from software “Brain Assistant” EEG-based performance was Regarding “Anxiety” “Rumination” visual used to evoke emotions; reinforcement (both negative positive operant conditioning) continuous. “Meditation Master” combined with continuous reinforcement. “Moving Art” 20-min calm nature films neutral character were used; both auditive applied. 13 healthy participants completed 15 sessions over months combining simultaneous frontal (aims: reduction theta-, alpha- high beta-activity, increase low mid beta-activity) parietal alpha 1-, 2- beta-activity). We observed significantly more pronounced percentage change expected direction Anxiety than Art (mean difference = 3.32; p 0.003). association between non-significant. Based results we conclude that conditioning emotion evoking effects should be preferred.
