Clostridium butyricum, a new probiotic in recent years, can produce butyric acid and short-chain fatty acids. It has the characteristics of strong alkali resistance, high temperature resistance to most antibiotics, more advantages than other probiotics. However, action mechanism C. butyricum on Eriocheir sinensis is still unclear needs further study. In this study, when was added basic diet, number living bacteria 0, 1 × 106 108 CFU/g, respectively. The E. were randomly divided into three groups: (blank control group, experimental group (1 CFU/g) 2 CFU/g)). They fed an diet for 28 days. effects studied by detecting differences non-specific immune indexes, intestinal microflora, metabolites between serum hepatopancreas. results showed that could improve antioxidant ability hepatopancreas, protect tissues, promote absorption nutrients. At same time, it enhance microbial diversity richness gut flora. LC-MS metabolomics used detect metabolism found up-regulate lysophosphatidylcholine intestine. Through KEGG enrichment pathway, significantly different mainly concentrated six metabolic pathways. purine alanine, aspartate, glutamate pathways downward trend, indicating addition feed reduce metabolism, water-salt balance organism's cells, inflammation. certain concentrations sinensis, flora environment, growth beneficial gut. This study used geometric morphometrics to investigate the carapace features of Chinese mitten crabs (Eriocheir sinensis) from non-traditional/emerging origins (Zhenlai County and Bosten Lake) identify differences in relative traditional (Yangcheng Lake). The unexpected recent emergence of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) genotype IV in multiple southern states Australia necessitated an evaluation JEV serological tests suitable for diagnosing acute infection and seroprevalence studies. This study examined the analytical clinical performance two high-throughput assays, Euroimmun immunofluorescence assay (IFA) enzyme-linked immunosorbent (ELISA), across four cohorts; (1) surveillance piggery workers outbreak areas, (2) residents (3) (4) post-JEV vaccination. ELISA IFA IgM demonstrated minimal cross-reactivity (0-1.8%) with other endemic flaviviruses, high sensitivity (100%) this low endemicity setting. Differences IgG serodynamics between assays suggest convalescent paired testing are critical infection. High concordance was observed when used serosurveillance (97.4% agreement, Cohen' κ 0.74 [95% CI 0.614-0.860]) vaccination cohorts (91.1% Cohen's 0.806 0.672-0.941]).
