BACKGROUND Artificial intelligence (AI) has become significantly integrated into healthcare, particularly in the diagnosing of neurological disorders. This advancement enabled neurologists and physicians to diagnose conditions more quickly effectively, ultimately benefiting patients. AIM To explore current status key highlights AI-related articles METHODS A systematic literature review was conducted Web Science Core Collection database using following strategy: TS = ("Artificial Intelligence" OR "Computational "Machine Learning" "AI") AND ("Neurological disorders" "CNS disorder" "diagnosis"). The search limited reviews. Microsoft Excel 2019 VOSviewer were utilized identify major contributors, including authors, institutions, countries, journals. Additionally, employed analyze visualize trends hot topics through network visualization maps. RESULTS total 276 publications from 2000 2024 retrieved. United States, India, China emerged as top contributors this field. Major institutions included Johns Hopkins University, King's College London, Harvard Medical School. most prolific author U. Rajendra Acharya University Southern Queensland (Australia). Among journals, IEEE Access , Scientific Reports Sensors productive, while Frontiers Neuroscience led citations. Central on disorders diagnosis Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's dementia, epilepsy, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, their intersections with deep learning AI. CONCLUSION Research AI's role is becoming widely recognized for its growing importance. AI shows promise various disorders, yet requires further improvement extensive future research.
