Introduction/Objective Problematic internet use is a psychophysical disorder that involves withdrawing from social interactions, buildup of tolerance, affective disturbances and pathological relationships. Neurobiological pharmacological data suggest similarities between the pathophysiology opiate addiction gambling. The objective this research was to compare sociodemographic characteristics people with Internet Addiction Disorder, who are addicted opiates control group. Based on Big Five model, psychological psychopathological then compared determine their expression levels in all three groups. Methodology carried out as cross-sectional clinical study based methodological approach included applying comparative methodology, using assessment scales psychiatric battery tests for personality assessment. sample 300 subjects: 100 subjects addiction, showing symptoms Results results indicate traits such empathy, extroversion, pleasantness, conscientiousness, openness cooperation expressed lesser extent Disorder Conclusion obtained serve should be diagnostic category behavioural addictions.
