With its emphasis on practices like social distancing and periods of intermittent isolation, the COVID-19 pandemic likely presented unique challenges for individuals who engage in consensual nonmonogamy (CNM). Interviews with 16 practitioners CNM United States conducted May–July, 2021 revealed five themes about how impacted their relationships: (1) slowing down relationship activity progress; (2) speeding up changes milestones; (3) providing opportunity reflecting nonmonogamous identities relationships; (4) facilitation clarifying intentions around (5) offering opportunities to apply skills from safer sex negotiations navigating safety precautions related COVID-19. The current study examines the impact of COVID-19 for a sample lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning, other emerging sexual (and gender) identities (LGBTQ+) adults. We hypothesized that financial strain, mental health, job loss, physical symptoms would be positively related to intimate partner violence (IPV). Data were collected through recruitment using Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) from May September 2020. Respondents 18+ years old, identified as member LGBTQ + community, resided in United States. Participant ages ranged 18-90 most White (53.9%), bisexual (47.6%), transgender (32.6%). final consisted 1,249 participants. All types perpetration significantly associated with symptoms. Research addressing the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on psychosocial well-being and health behavior is accumulating; however, implications for emerging adult populations are underexplored. This manuscript synthesizes findings from a mixed-methods study well-being, eating activity behaviors, food insecurity among diverse, longitudinal cohort adults. The review includes 11 original studies that involved collecting online surveys 720 adults in-depth, virtual interviews with 33 respondents who were insecure. Findings indicated had widespread impacts well-being. Population groups at greatest risk poor outcomes included women; those identified as Black, Indigenous, or Person Color; persons in households low socioeconomic status; parents young children; previously experienced mental challenges weight stigma.
