Self-regulated learning (SRL) has been regarded as one of the indispensable factors affecting students' academic success in online environments. However, current understanding mechanism/causes SRL ill-structured problem-solving remains insufficient. This study, therefore, examines configural causal effects goal attributes, motivational beliefs, creativity, and grit on self-regulated learning. With fuzzy sets approach (fsQCA), proposed association was analyzed based a sample students (n = 88) participating an educational design competition activity. The results uniquely revealed predictive at both high low levels. In addition, it found that no single condition leads to prediction or self-regulation. More specifically, different conditions factors, terms gender, attributes (goal setting achievement goals), grit, task value, self-efficacy, can largely predict during context Implications for theory policy prescriptions were discussed enhance problem-solving.

Abstract Background Recent years have witnessed a revolutionary transformation in information technology, characterized by the proliferation of electronic platforms, with Egyptian Knowledge Bank being notable example. Understanding how to effectively navigate these complex systems requires investigation into key factors, particularly system intelligence. Objectives This study aimed examine mediating role research motivation relationship between intelligence, Academic Grit, and Achievement. Method Using correlational design, surveyed 600 post-graduate students aged 25–55 (M = 33.22, SD 8.09) through online snowball sampling. Data were collected using Research Motivation Scale, System Intelligence Grit Grade Point Average (GPA). Statistical analyses conducted IBM Amos, Spss 23. Results Path analysis revealed that intelligence had an indirect effect on motivation. Additionally, direct effects observed from motivation, Conclusions highlights as crucial mediator academic grit, achievement. The findings suggest potential interventions enhance achievement fostering grit development

Abstract: The academic grit scale (AGS) is a new measure developed to assess the level of adolescents’ in an academic-specific context. main purpose this study was examine psychometric properties, factor structure, and measurement invariance AGS among Chinese adolescents. A cross-sectional design convenient sampling were conducted sample adolescents ( N = 619, 50.6% female, M age 14.56 years, SD 1.47 years) using AGS. Confirmatory analysis (CFA) supported original unidimensional model AGS, multiple-group CFA further verified scores had strong across gender (i.e., boys girls) grade middle school students high students). Moreover, also showed satisfactory internal consistency (using Cronbach’s α, McDonald’s ω, mean inter-item correlation) criterion validity, by expected relationships with on external variables general grit, anxiety, depression). In conclusion, these findings suggest that has properties can be reliable tool

The relevance of the study persistence is primarily since it belongs to group non-cognitive factors that determine academic achievement and success. Based on modern theoretical methodological developments, a scale in activities was developed for students grades 3–8 secondary schools. conducted two samples primary schoolchildren (N = 840, MA 11.27, SD 1.99). evaluates (grit), understood as behavioral component motivation activity, manifested such characteristics learning, tendency finish what has been started, positive attitude towards effort. To test validity new questionnaire, indicators achievement, intrinsic various types extrinsic motivation, cheating, self-efficacy well-being were used. results analysis psychometric properties, including CFA, show characterized by acceptable internal consistency, clear factor structure, balanced composition, compactness. Convincing evidence obtained favor scale, importance perseverance performance (GPA) demonstrated both middle school children. Age norm are provided, dynamics from elementary among public schools shown. proposed can be useful further research when studying role achievements its sources.
