increasingly
reflected
growing
commercial
influence

pharmaceutical
industry.
Dominant
are
closely
tied
to
groupthink,
which
medical
journals
often
subject.
In
addition,
more
"prestigious"
tend
further
financial
conflicts
interest
with
These
dynamics
limit
scientific
progress
suppressing
awareness
iatrogenic
aspects
industry
products
benefits
alternative
non-patentable
unpatentable
therapeutic
interventions.
Journals
need
adopt
a
open
policy
manuscripts
that
encompass
contrarian
perspectives
while
still
adhering
time-tested
values
methods.
