This study aims to examine and optimize CO2 laser cutting parameters—namely, power, speed, focal plane position—when applied polypropylene material using an experimental methodology. research improve quality, increase reduce waste while adhering sustainability objectives. To achieve these goals, a comprehensive approach was employed, incorporating the Box–Behnken Design (BBD) based on response surface methodology (RSM) process by evaluating relationships between input parameters output responses. Data were collected through series of controlled experiments in which power (ranging from 30 60 W), speed mm/s), position (set at −3, 0, +3 mm) systematically varied. The responses, quantified regarding cut include kerf width heat-affected zone (HAZ). Additionally, RSM used quality. results indicated that has inverse effect HAZ, direct effect. Furthermore, found have least impact maximum HAZ observed minimum mm/s W.
