This study used an innovative approach to investigate how context elements interrelate influence LTC aides. Methods In this secondary analysis study, we combined coincidence (a configurational comparative method) qualitative examine data collected through the Translating Research Elder Care (TREC) program. Coincidence of clinical microsystem (care unit)-level aggregated from survey 1,506 across 36 Canadian identified configurations (paths) linked consistently aides’ use, measured scale conceptual research (CRU). Qualitative ethnographic case 3 (co-occurring survey) further informed interpretation configurations. Results Three paths led very high CRU at unit level: leadership; frequent educational materials; or combination social capital (teamwork) communication between educators specialists. Conversely, 2 low CRU, consisting related unfavorable conditions relationships, resources, formal learning opportunities. Our provided insights into specific served as facilitators barriers for practices. exploration was especially helpful understanding paths, illustrating pivotal leadership function teamwork mitigating negative impact time constraints.
