BACKGROUND The transition from military service to civilian life presents a variety of challenges for veterans, influenced by individual factors such as premilitary life, length service, and deployment history. Mental health issues, physical injuries, difficulties in relationships, identity loss compound the reintegration process. To address these challenges, various face-to-face internet-based programs are available yet underused. This paper preliminary evaluation “Go-Beyond, Navigating Life Beyond Service,” an psychoeducational program veterans. OBJECTIVE study aims identify reach, adoption, engagement with generate future recommendations enhance its overall impact. METHODS exclusively used data that were automatically routinely collected start Go-Beyond program’s launch on May 24, 2021, until 7, 2023. When accessing website, veterans asked complete Military-Civilian Adjustment Reintegration Measure (M-CARM) questionnaire, which produces unique M-CARM profile results specifying potential areas need 5 domains measure. Users then allocated modules aligned their profile. Additionally, quantitative qualitative survey aesthetics, interactivity, user journey, experience, was optional users at end each module. RESULTS Results show conversion rate 28.5% (273/959) program. is notably higher compared similar self-help programs, VetChange (1033/22,087, 4.7%) resources gambling behavior (5652/8083, 14%), but lower than MoodGYM (82,159/194,840, 42.2%). However, comparisons should be interpreted caution due limited availability published rates varying definitions uptake adoption across studies. individuals 1.64 (95% CI 1.17-2.28) more likely enroll when they express Purpose Connection, 1.50 1.06-2.18) times Beliefs About Civilians, those without needs. completion 31% (85/273) modules’ varied 8.4% (17/203) 20% (41/206). Feedback revealed high satisfaction Go-Beyond, emphasizing engaging content user-friendly modules. Notably, 94% (88/94) respondents indicated would recommend other family, or friends. CONCLUSIONS may offer promising support transitioning through digital technology. Our reveals insights ongoing further diverse needs personnel. Future research explore predictors engagement, addition peer facilitator support, use outcome measures effectiveness assessment.

This systematic review aimed to synthesise qualitative evidence on the views and experiences of older adults in using digital mental health interventions (DMHIs) for prevention or self-management disorders. We searched PubMed, Embase, Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature, Web Science, PsycINFO, first 100 results Google Scholar eligible studies we included 37 papers reporting 35 this Review. Most DMHIs were delivered mobile apps (n=11), websites (n=6), video-conferencing tools (n=6). The use was affected by negative perceptions about ageing health, divide (eg, insufficient literacy), personal factors motivation) status, interpersonal influences guidance encouragement), intervention features pace content), technology-related accessibility), perceived benefits risks DMHIs. Future should involve other stakeholders such as health-care professionals, provide content relevant needs people, be more accessible, address concerns privacy confidentiality.

Abstract Purpose Although the development of digital mental health support for people with psychosis has been increasing, and opportunities to access this have more limited compared other conditions. Qualitative research exploring experiences using interventions amongst is even less well developed; however, such crucial in capturing ensure they are meeting needs psychosis. This paper aimed synthesise qualitative data related who used interventions. Methods A systematic literature search was conducted articles published between 1992 October 2023 PubMed, MBase, PsycINFO, & OVID Medline. Two reviewers independently reviewed screened 268 papers. Papers that met inclusion criteria were quality assessed The Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) studies checklist. Enhancing Transparency Reporting Synthesis Research (ENTREQ) checklist guide structure report. Results thematic synthesis 19 revealed six overarching themes which different aspects features interventions: participants’ relationship technology; accessibility interventions; how could impact on individuals’ awareness management health; enhanced communication relationships; reflection. Conclusions Benefits discussed. Areas improvements highlighted. Finally, recommendations stakeholders develop implement made.

Objective Both structural (e.g., ageism) and personal stigma) barriers hinder older adults' access to engagement with mental health care. These are particularly problematic for those vulnerable interpersonal violence abuse due social isolation). This study presents a quality improvement program aimed at adults who have experienced significant stressful events, elder mistreatment, within larger trauma specialty clinic. Leveraging home-based telemedicine, the clinic provides evidence-based psychotherapy tailored needs of adults. Methods From 2021 through 2023, authors retrospectively examined treatment initiation, engagement, completion, clinical outcomes among 231 age 60+ reported that met DSM-5 criterion A criteria post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, or other comorbid conditions related their traumatic event. The uses an automated measurement-based care approach facilitates Quality Improvement projects, allowing tracking all patients. Results results indicated high telemedicine-delivered interventions, and, most importantly, changes in outcomes. Conclusion findings highlight importance expanding telemedicine-based services adults, challenging ageist norms, prioritizing by providing this patient population.
