The deployment of Health Information Systems (HIS) in Sri Lanka has been low adoption compared to developed countries. There a dearth studies identify the factors that improve HIS developing Thus, this study investigates influencing acceptance among public healthcare staff. A survey was administered 170 medical professionals, including nurses and doctors. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) applied dataset with 5000 bootstrap subsamples. research model based on prior literature by extending Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) context healthcare. positive relationship observed between actual use constructs such as perceived usefulness, ease use, attitude, behavioural intention, supervisors, computer anxiety facilitating conditions. These findings confirm applicability proposed extended TAM system country. Furthermore, practitioners policymakers sector would find these results valuable.

Background The aging population and the accompanying rise in chronic diseases have intensified need to study adoption of telehealth services. However, success services depends not only on their ease usefulness but also addressing broader concerns. Despite being a substantial user group traditional health services, older adults may encounter barriers adopting Increasing among adult is crucial for enhancing access care managing challenges effectively. Objective We aimed explore factors influencing Malaysia, going beyond conventional framework by incorporating transition cost subjective well-being as additional constructs. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted 119 aged ≥60 years using 39 items adapted from existing studies. Data analysis performed partial least squares structural equation modeling, with both measurement model evaluated. To determine predictive relevance model, PLSpredict applied. In addition, importance-performance map further expand results assessing performance each variable. Results Of participants, 52 (43.7%) were women 67 (56.3%) men. found that (β=0.448; P<.001) most significant factor, followed attitude (β=0.242; P<.001), (β=−0.163; perceived (β=0.100, P=.02) service intention. Furthermore, use (β=0.271; availability (β=0.323; (β=0.261; trust (β=0.156, P=.004) positively influenced usefulness, while inertia (β=0.024, P=.22) did not. (β=0.420; (β=0.260; related use, (β=−0.246; having negative impact. showed (importance=0.532) factor users, (importance=70.735) had highest Conclusions This research underscores importance catering optimizing encourage adoption, ultimately advancing accessibility quality this vulnerable demographic.

Introduction:Telemedicine, once considered a groundbreaking innovation in healthcare, has seen marked decline usage, highlighting numerous barriers to its continued adoption. This systematic review aims identify and analyze the socio-technological, individual, institutional, behavioral factors that contribute discontinuance of telemedicine among healthcare providers. Methods:A comprehensive search PubMed Scopus databases was conducted, identifying 1,070 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 2024. After applying inclusion exclusion criteria, 22 studies were selected for detailed analysis. Results:Several socio-technological identified, including issues with system usability, unreliable infrastructure, lack interoperability, all which hinder seamless integration into clinical workflows. Additionally, individual-level such as low technological self-efficacy, anxiety, concerns about depersonalization care emerged significant challenges. Institutional barriers, insufficient training, inadequate resource allocation, high workloads, further complicate adoption telemedicine. Behavioral resistance, reluctance change fears related compliance professional identity, also exacerbated challenges faced by providers. Conclusions:Addressing identified requires multifaceted approach. Technological improvements, enhanced targeted interventions aimed at reducing psychological resistance improving institutional support are essential promoting sustained use healthcare.
