The
deployment

Background
The
aging
population

Introduction:Telemedicine,

healthcare,

decline

highlighting

systematic
review
aims
identify

analyze
the
socio-technological,
individual,
institutional,
behavioral
factors
that
contribute
discontinuance
of
telemedicine
among
healthcare
providers.Methods:A
comprehensive
search
PubMed
Scopus
databases
was
conducted,
identifying
1,070
peer-reviewed
articles
published
between
2020
2024.
After
applying
inclusion
exclusion
criteria,
22
studies
were
selected
for
detailed
analysis.Results:Several
socio-technological
identified,
including
issues
with
system
usability,
unreliable
infrastructure,
lack
interoperability,
all
which
hinder
seamless
integration
into
clinical
workflows.
Additionally,
individual-level
such
as
low
technological
self-efficacy,
anxiety,
concerns
about
depersonalization
care
emerged
significant
challenges.
Institutional
barriers,
insufficient
training,
inadequate
resource
allocation,
high
workloads,
further
complicate
adoption
telemedicine.
Behavioral
resistance,
reluctance
change
fears
related
compliance
professional
identity,

exacerbated
challenges
faced
by
providers.Conclusions:Addressing
identified
requires
multifaceted
