Preparing
students
to
communicate
in
business
has
often
been
an
overlooked
area
within
literacy
studies.
With
current
calls
by
Cardon
et
al.
(2024)
focus
on
core
competencies
the
communication
classroom
with
emergence
of
generative
AI,
it
is
more
important
than
ever
remember
Berkenkotter
and
Huckin’s
(1994)
explanation
that
will
always
learn
a
form
“situated
cognition
embedded
disciplinary
activities”
(p.
3).
This
project,
as
result,
provides
framework
explore
student
experiences
before
arrive
college
campus
better
inform
higher
education
stakeholders.

artificial
intelligence
(GAI)
tools
have
raised
a
wide
variety
of
questions
concerns
for
the
field
technical
communication:
How
will
these
be
incorporated
into
professional
settings?

we
appropriately
integrate
our
research
teaching?
In

review,
examine
published
2023–2024
addressing

28).
Overall,
find
preliminary
evidence
that
GAI
can
positively
impact
student
writing
assessment;
they

potential

assist

aspects
