Migraine
is
a
common
disabling
conditions
which,
globally,
affects
15.2%
of
the
population.
It
second
cause
health
loss
in
terms
years
lived
with
disability,
first
among
women.
Despite
being
so
common,
it
poorly
recognised
and
too
often
undertreated.
Specialty
centres
neurologists
specific
expertise
on
headache
disorders
have
knowledge
to
provide
care:
however,
those
who
do
not
regularly
treat
patients
migraine
will
benefit
from
synopsis
most
relevant
updated
information
about
this
condition.
This
paper
presents
comprehensive
view
hallmarks
migraine,
genetics
diagnostic
markers,
up
treatments
societal
impact,
reports
elements
that
identify
features.

Abnormal alterations in structure-function coupling at the modular level in patients with postherpetic neuralgia

To
investigate
the
presence
of
modular
loss
coupling
and
abnormal
alterations
in
functional
structural
networks
brain
patients
with
postherpetic
neuralgia
(PHN).
We
collected
resting-state
magnetic
resonance
imaging
data
diffusion
tensor
from
82
healthy
controls
(HCs)
71
PHN
patients,
generated
connectivity
(SC)
(FC)
networks,
assessed
corresponding
clinical
information
assessment.
Based
on
AAL(90)
mapping,
network
was
divided
into
9
modules,
structural–functional
(SC–FC)
compared
at
whole-brain
level
within
as
well
topological
properties
patient
group.
Finally,
correlation
analyses
were
performed
using
following
scales:
Visual
Analogue
Scale
(VAS),
Hamilton
Anxiety
(HAMA),
Depression
(HAMD).
Compared
HCs,
had
reduced
global
efficiency
(Eg)
local
(Eloc)
networks.
The
FC
group
presented
node
clustering
coefficients
(NCp),
efficiencies
(NLe),
(Ne),
SC
degrees
(Dc),
NCp,
NLe,
characteristic
path
lengths
(NLp),
Ne.
In
addition,
SC–FC
default
(DMN),
salient
(SN),
visual
(VIS).
Moreover,
degree
impairment
graph
theory
indicators
significantly
positively
correlated
scales
such
VAS
scores,
modules
negatively
early
course
patient's
disease.
Large-scale
impaired
observed
PHN,
decoupling
detected
these
DMN,
SN,
VIS.
These
aberrant
may
have
led
to
over-transmission
pain
or
central
sensitization
pain.

Introduction
Advanced
neuroimaging
studies
have
strongly
contributed
to
clarify
the
gaps
in
knowledge
about
migraine
pathophysiology.
Cortical
thickness
has
garnered
significant
interest
reflecting
physiological
processes
such
as
gray
matter
neurogenesis
and
synaptic
pruning,
well
pathophysiological
mechanisms
like
neurodegeneration
or
plasticity
changes
associated
with
aging
disease.
Evidence
on
cortical
highlights
variability,
likely
due
clinical
complexity
but
also
methodological
issues.
Nevertheless,

Effectiveness of a Complementary Telehealth Education Program as a Preventive Treatment for Chronic Migraine: A Randomized Pilot Study

Background/Objectives:
Chronic
migraine
(CM)
is
a
neurological
disorder
that
causes
significant
disability,
loss
of
productivity,
and
economic
burden.
Preventive
treatments,
including
pharmacological
educational
interventions,
are
crucial
for
managing
CM
effectively.
The
aim
this
study
was
to
analyze
whether
adding
therapeutic
telehealth
education
program
(TTEP)
treatment
achieved
greater
reduction
in
the
number
headache
days
experienced
by
patients
with
CM.
Methods:
A
randomized,
double-blind,
controlled
pilot
two
parallel
groups
performed.
Patients
diagnosis
who
were
being
treated
Botulinum
Toxin
randomly
assigned
either
EG
(therapeutic

neuroscience
pain,
migraine,
pain
strategies,
sleep
habits,
exercise,
nutrition,
postural
relaxation

CG
