Metabolomics,

powerful
discipline

at

profiling

molecules

biological
samples.
The
challenges

complexity

addressed

innovative
preparation
methods,
including
solid‐phase
extraction
and
microextraction
techniques,
enhancing
the

low‐abundance
metabolites.
Advances

separation,
particularly
liquid
chromatography
(LC)
gas
(GC),
coupled
with
high‐resolution
(HR)
mass
spectrometry
(MS),
have
significantly
improved
sensitivity,

throughput
metabolomic
studies.
Cutting‐edge

as
ion‐mobility
(IM‐MS)
tandem
MS
(MS/MS),
further
expand
capacity
for
metabolite
profiling.
These
advanced
analytical

each
offer

diagnosis

Clinical
biomarker
development
has
been
stymied
by
inaccurate
protein
quantification
from
mass
spectrometry
(MS)
discovery
data

a
prolonged
validation
process.

we
created
the
Targeted
Extraction
Assessment
of
Quantification
(TEAQ)
software
package.
This
innovative
tool
uses
cohort
analysis
to
select
precursors,
peptides,
proteins
that
adhere
established
targeted
assay
criteria.
TEAQ
was
applied
Data-Independent
Acquisition
MS
plasma
samples
acquired
on
an
Orbitrap™
Astral™
MS.
Identified
precursors
were
evaluated
for
linearity,
specificity,
repeatability,
reproducibility,
intra-protein
correlation

loading
curves
under
three
throughputs,
