Honey, propolis, and passionflower contain a flavone known as chrysin. Researchers are studying chrysin to prove its potential stop cancer cells growth. Chrysin therapeutic is of great interest numerous studies have been done illustrate this potential. It associated protein pathways effectively suppress tumor growth within the body. shown ability kill breast, prostate, lung, liver, stomach cancerous cells. can block Phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target rapamycin (PI3K/AKT/mTOR) Mitogen-activated kinase/extracellular signal-regulated (MAPK/ERK) signaling in different animals against various cancers. has breast laboratory setting by inhibiting their cell division. strongly suppresses Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), Urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) Vascular endothelial factor (VEGF), i.e. factors that cause cancer. androgen receptor (AR), necessary for prostate development metastasis. starts caspase cascade blocks synthesis lung Unnecessary apoptosis be prevented stopping certain pathways. significantly decreased metastasis animal-modeled studies. induces stops colon G2/M cycle phase. cancer-promoting cyclin B1 cyclin-dependent 2. suppressed CDK2 production order prevents spread blocking blood vessel expansion. Chrysin's solubility, accessibility bioavailability may limit medical use. targets cancer-related communication present reduce chances onset cancer, it also serve an alternative treatment whole prevent treat cancers, but more clinical trials research needed fully unlock

Pancreatic cancer is an extremely deadly illness for which there are few reliable treatments. Recent research indicates that malignant tumors highly variable and consist of a tiny subset unique cells, known as stem cells (CSCs), responsible the beginning spread tumors. These typically identified by expression specific cell surface markers. A population pancreatic with aberrantly active developmental signaling pathways has been in recent studies human Among these Notch pathway key regulator CSCs self-renewal, making it attractive target therapeutic intervention. Chrysin-loaded polylactic acid (PLA) polymeric nanoparticles systems have growing interest using platforms improved drug delivery. This review aims to explore innovative strategies targeted therapy optimized delivery manipulating leveraging PLA-based systems. Furthermore, we will assess capability PLA enhance bioavailability effectiveness gemcitabine cells. The insights gained from this potential contribute development novel treatment approaches combine advanced utilizing biodegradable nanoparticles.

Abstract Background Hypoxia is a common symptom of lung cancer. Proliferation and neovascularization mediated by hypoxia-inducible factors (HIF) influence several adaptations. It has recently been established that naringenin (NAR) its nanoparticles are chemo-preventive flavonoids in Aim Adjust HIF activity reviving oxygen-sensing enzyme while considering possible therapeutic targets. Method The bindings NAR to target proteins were examined using computational modeling techniques. Additionally, (NARNPs) synthesized characterized. Normal fibroblast cells A549 used determine cytotoxicity. Colorimetric analysis α-ketoglutarate detection for hydroxylases. Results According molecular modeling, have high affinity. PHD FIH activities significantly stimulated. Conclusion NARNPs diminish hypoxia cancer stimulating

The natural flavonoid compound chrysin has promising anti-tumor effects. In this study, we aimed to investigate the mechanism by which inhibits growth of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Through in vitro culture and animal models, explored impact on NSCLC cells pro-cancer effects tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) their mechanisms. We observed that M2-TAMs significantly promoted migration cells, while also markedly activating autophagy level these cells. Chrysin displayed a significant inhibitory effect it could suppress inhibit mediated autophagy. Furthermore, combining network pharmacology, found inhibited TAMs-mediated activation through regulation CDK1/ULK1 signaling pathway, rather than classical mTOR/ULK1 pathway. Our study reveals novel thereby suppressing growth. This discovery not only provides new therapeutic strategies for but opens up avenues further research chrysin.

Relevance: A number of researchers consider the study radioprotective properties non-toxic or low-toxic natural substances to be a promising direction. special place among them is occupied by antioxidants and participants in basic reactions metabolism. In order avoid methodological errors when performing these studies, it necessary conduct additional experiments. For example, various on cell cultures using tablet readers, first make sure that do not affect ability cells adsorb bottom wells interfere with proliferation. Mitochondrial respiration complexes play a crucial function. As result, dysfunction or change is intimately associated with many different diseases, among them cancer. The epigenetic, evolutionary, and metabolic effects of mitochondrial complex IΙ are the primary concerns our review. Provides novel insight into vital role naringenin (NAR) as an intriguing flavonoid phytochemical in cancer treatment. NAR significant that member flavanone group polyphenols mostly present citrus fruits, such grapefruits, well other fruits vegetables, like tomatoes cherries, foods produced from medicinal herbs. evidence now available indicates NAR, herbal remedy, has pharmacological qualities anti-cancer effects. Through variety mechanisms, including induction apoptosis, cell cycle arrest, restriction angiogenesis, modulation several signaling pathways, prevents growth However, hydrophobic crystalline structure primarily responsible for its instability, limited oral bioavailability, water solubility. Furthermore, there no targeting high rate breakdown acidic environment. These shortcomings barriers to efficient medical application. Improvement ΙΙ by loading it on chitosan nanoparticles promising strategy.
