<b><i>Objective:</i></b> The study aimed to explore the genotype and allele distributions of dopamine D2-like receptor (<i>DRD2</i>) gene -141C C957T polymorphisms in Chinese Han population with dyslipidemia, as well their association serum lipid levels. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> One hundred fifty patients dyslipidemia 150 healthy people were recruited case control groups, respectively. Chloroplast genomes for 3 Bidens plants endemic to China (Bidens bipinnata Linn., pilosa and alba var. radiata) have been sequenced, assembled annotated in this study distinguish their molecular characterization phylogenetic relationships. The chloroplast genome plays an important role in exploring the origin and evolution of grapes. In this study, genomes eight grape germplasms were analyzed. results show that sequence arrangement was highly conserved has a typical annular quadripartite structure. At same time, GC content, gene sequence, repeat type codon bias pattern are conserved. Whereas, 19 mutation hotspot regions identified by comparative analysis, including 9 protein-coding genes (atpF, rpoC2, rps18, psbC, atpB, rbcL, rps20, ycf1 ycf15) 10 non-coding (trnK – rps16, rps16 trnQ, trnE trnT, psbZ - trnG, ndhC trnV, accD psaI, ycf2 trnL, ndhF rpl32, ccsA ndhD, trnL ycf2). Most these variable involved physiological process photosynthesis. Viola philippica, a medicinal herbaceous plant documented in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, is promising candidate for research into plant-derived pharmaceuticals. However, study of newly emerging viruses that threaten cultivation V. philippica remains limited. In this study, plants exhibiting symptoms such as leaf yellowing, mottled leaves, and vein chlorosis were collected subjected to RNA sequencing identify potential viral pathogens. A novel polerovirus, named Philippica Polerovirus (VPPV), was identified philippica. VPPV possesses linear, positive-sense, single-stranded genome consisting 5535 nucleotides (nt) encodes seven highly overlapping open reading frames (ORFs). Viola yedoensis Makino (V. yedoensis), a perennial herb in the Violaceae family, is recognized for its violet flowers and has longstanding role ethnomedicine treating various inflammatory diseases, such as boils, furuncles, carbuncles, both acute chronic hepatitis, among others. A comprehensive literature review was conducted utilizing resources including Chinese Pharmacopoeia, Flora of China, Web Science, PubMed, Baidu Scholar, Google China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). This paper serves inaugural latest findings regarding botany, traditional applications, phytochemistry, pharmacological properties, quality control, prospective uses V. yedoensis. The objective to provide robust foundation future research suggest novel avenues exploring potential applications. To date, 162 chemical constituents have been isolated from yedoensis, with flavonoids coumarins identified particularly abundant. These compounds exhibit promising activities, anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, anti-viral, anti-tumor, anti-lung injury, anti-liver anti-bacterial, anti-coagulant, anti-complement, anti-oxidant properties.
