To sustain agricultural productivity and safeguard global food security, confront the escalating challenges posed by climate change water scarcity, it is essential to enhance growth of rice under stress. This study investigated effects lanthanum chloride on chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics grain yield different irrigation modes. The cultivar H You 518 was selected sprayed 20, 100, or 200 mg·L−1 at booting heading stages deficit (where no rewatering applied after initiation stress, allowing layer evaporate naturally high temperatures) conventional (with daily maintain a consistent level). results showed that application low concentrations promoted content, whereas decreased irrigation, effect green parameters leaves stage greater than stage, more sensitive deficit. 100 reduced initial (F0) non-photochemical quenching coefficient (qN); activity leaf photosynthetic system II (PSII); maximized photochemical quantum (Fv/Fm), (qP), PSII relative electron transfer efficiency (ETR). Under this treatment significantly enhanced increasing thousand-grain weight, spikelet filling rate, number grains per panicle. These suggest spraying can effectively increase thereby light energy conversion PS reaction center, ultimately resulting in increased rate yields.
