Abstract Background Cognitive impairment represents an emerging significant public health concern and a prominent risk factor for Alzheimer's disease dementia among elderly adults. This study seeks to examine the prevalence of substance use identify determinants cognitive individuals in India. This study aims to investigate the relationship between blood-based pathologies and established risk factors for cognitive decline in community-based population of Chongqing, a region with significant aging. A total 26,554 residents aged 50 years older were recruited. Multinomial logistic regression models applied assess cognition levels. Cognitive impairment is a major public health concern. Nutrition literacy (NL) the capacity of an individual to make informed decisions about nutrition, which reflected in their eating behaviors and ultimately affects overall nutritional wellbeing.
