Abstract Background Distant metastasis occurs in the majority of adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), leading to an extremely poor prognosis. However, key genes driving ACC remain unclear. Methods Weighted gene co‐expression network analysis (WGCNA) and functional enrichment were conducted identify metastasis‐related genes. Data from RNA‐seq microarray analyzed reveal correlations CENPM with cancer, metastasis, survival ACC. Immunohistochemistry was used assess protein expression.
