Objetivo: Investigar na literatura científica as implicações da pandemia de COVID-19 qualidade do sono universitários Métodos: Realizou-se uma revisão integrativa entre os meses abril e maio 2023. A busca artigos ocorreu nas seguintes bases dados: Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) PUBMED. Utilizou-se descritores indexados no Descritores Ciências (DeCS) o Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) português/inglês (Sono/sleep, Covid-19/covid-19 estudantes/ students). Foram inclusos estudos tipo observacional ou intervenção, publicados 2020 2023, nos idiomas português inglês disponíveis texto completo que abordasse a variável população universitária. Os critérios exclusão foram revisões, teses dissertações. Resultados: encontrados 1334 dados, sendo 639 PUBMED, 683 BVS, 12 SciELO. Deste total, após utilização dos inclusão selecionados artigos. Conclusão: O presente estudo evidenciou tiveram decorrência período COVID-19, sua associação com múltiplos fatores relacionados saúde desempenho acadêmico. Conclui-se trouxe impactos negativos outras variáveis estudada.

Abstract Sleep disturbances like poor and insufficient sleep are common among medical students in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) countries; however, extent of medically defined disorders (SDs) remains unclear. This meta-analysis determines SD prevalence identifies associated factors MENA. PubMed, Web Science, Google Scholar, reference lists included studies were searched (latest search: June 2022). Meta-analyses 22 performed using random-effect models. Included used self-reported screening tools for assessing SDs then estimated proportion participants at high risk developing a SD. Central hypersomnolence most prevalent [prevalence pooled range: 30.9% (Jordan) to 62.5% (Saudi Arabia)], followed by insomnia 30.4% 59.1% (Morocco)], circadian rhythm sleep–wake 13.5% 22.4% sleep-related breathing 12.2% 22.5% (Pakistan)], movement 5.9% (Egypt) 30.6% parasomnias 5.6% 17.4% Arabia)]. Burnout affects many healthcare professionals, especially nurses, causing serious health problems and disrupting the work environment. Academic burnout may also be experienced, leading students to feel unable cope with their education. As a result, they lose interest even consider abandoning studies. Hence, syndrome can affect both mental professional future of those affected. To evaluate academic in nursing who had no clinical experience before starting practical training, cross-sectional study involving 212 third-year at University Granada was conducted. Data were collected using Questionnaire, Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, NEO Five-Factor Inventory, Hospital Anxiety Depression Fear CoronaVirus-19 Scale. High levels present 37.8% students. Moreover, 21.5% 8.7% borderline cases anxiety or depression, respectively. Another 30.8% 9.2%, respectively, considered likely these conditions. According predictive models dimensions obtained, neuroticism is predictor all three dimensions. Furthermore, anxiety, extraversion, responsibility engagement are predictors some syndrome. Background: Insomnia is a prevalent sleep disorder that significantly impacts the quality of life and academic performance individuals, particularly among university students. Understanding prevalence characteristics insomnia in this demographic, especially nursing students who face unique clinical stressors, crucial for developing effective interventions. Objective: This study aims to determine undergraduate Peshawar analyze its association with demographic factors like gender, age, marital status, year, socio-economic status. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional was conducted over six months from July December 2023 at Private Nursing Institutes Peshawar. The included 377 participants aged between 18 25 years. Participants medical conditions affecting sleep, those on sedatives or hypnotics, currently engaged rotations internships were excluded. Data demographics, socioeconomic collected using Athens Scale (AIS). SPSS version 26.0 used data analysis. Results: Out participants, 70.3% male 29.7% female, mean age 21.5±3.5 In terms 9.8% married 90.2% unmarried. found be 52.8%, higher occurrence males (35.5%) than females (17.3%). frequency varied across years, highest third year (25.5%). Abstract Objective To compare the effects of strength training with load progression after 4 weeks on sleep parameters and mental health in college students. Methods A total 17 university students (11 women, 6 men), ranging from 18 to 21 years old, were randomized into a group (STG) control (CG). The Pittsburgh quality index (PSQI), insomnia severity questionnaire, hospital anxiety depression (HAD) scale, profile mood states (POMS), chronotype used evaluate main outcomes. Training consisted 60 minute·d−1 (2 times/week, for 4-weeks), 3 sets 10 12 repetitions, 1-minute rest interval between exercises. Baseline postintervention differences analyzed using generalized estimating equations (GEE). Results After ST, significant time effect (β: 1.33; p < 0.05) was observed STG. The aim of the study was to assess sleep quality in medical students from all years enrolled at Faculty Medicine, UKIM, Skopje during winter semester academic year 2022/23. An online survey including Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and a questionnaire regarding demographic variables (age gender) available via Google Forms cohort three time points (the beginning, middle end) semester.
