PFTs for both traditional and virtual approaches have been shown to be effective in several scientific studies. Over five weeks, this study compared the two PFT administration methods. Participants' post-test scores were used evaluate procedures. The participants divided into groups. battery of includes hexagonal test, Plank Hand-wall Stork-balance Vertical jump. One these exams will given weekly weeks each student. Obtained data processed via IBM SPSS 27. profile results selected interpreted using descriptive statistics like frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Additionally, Independent samples Paired t-test performed determine variance between PFTs. All similarly approaches. Interestingly, treatments showed considerable BMI change. Virtual is modestly significant administration. Finally, effectiveness was not significantly different. Even though slightly higher than one. Both procedures work well college students, physical fitness assessments can utilized repeatedly. This discusses limitations further research.

We aimed at investigating the impact of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on time required to complete a 1000-m run and vital capacity (VC) among healthy male students three universities in Wuhan, China, followed for four years covering prepandemic (2019), early/late pandemic (2020/2021), post-pandemic (2022) periods. Demographic information including age, body height/weight, mass index (BMI) were also collected. After dividing participants into groups based BMI (i.e., underweight: < 18.5; normal: 18.5 ≤ 25; overweight: 25 30; obese: ≥ 30), associations performance with changes VC between different within each group periods analyzed. A 4-year follow-up 10,037 demonstrated progressive deterioration (p 0.001) except obese group. All showed drop period (all p compatible their impaired performance. The underweight/normal exhibited an annual increase 0.001). Impairment was most conspicuous during early as subsided. Our findings physical endurance university pandemic, highlighting need cardiopulmonary exercise reinforcement pandemic.

Abstract Background Students’ physical fitness, particularly aerobic has seriously declined during the COVID-19 epidemic. However, in post-epidemic era, there are few studies on methods of improving fitness. Understanding dose-response relationship between activity and fitness is crucial for developing effective exercise prescriptions. Method This retrospective study reviewed Fun Running program at Wannan Medical College China. We conducted a pre-post design to analyze impact 15 weeks training Middle long-distance running pace (MLDR-P) was used as primary indicator A paired sample T-test differences two MLDR-Ps. Pearson’s correlation examine variables. Multiple linear regression determine extent which components explain variance MLDR-P. Results total 3244 college students participated this study. can significantly improve MLDR-P both females ( P < 0.001, ES = 0.68) males 0.72). The correlated with (R 2 0.95, p 0.05, females; R 0.96, males). component that had greatest (β 1.39, β 1.09, males), followed by distance 0.49, 0.15, last frequency -0.03, all). Conclusion fills gap research among era. results show Examination provides practitioners valuable insights into prescribing training, allowing them develop more programs. Future should focus how implement hierarchical effectively.

Abstract Background Research on the impact of COVID-19-induced home isolation physical fitness college students is limited. This study aims to compare and analyze test scores in two groups: those who experienced did not, over three consecutive years after enrolment, investigate effects development Chinese students. Methods comparative included longitudinal surveys conducted among medical The participants were divided into an experimental group a control group. indicators measured body mass index (BMI), vital capacity (VC), 50-metre run, sit-and-reach, standing long jump, 1000/800-metre runs (males/females), pull-ups (males) sit-ups (females). Repeated measures analysis variance (ANOVA) was employed, Greenhouse-Geisser correction applied when Mauchly’s assumption sphericity violated. Pairwise comparisons using Bonferroni method. Results A total 6580 participated study, with 3360 (1490 males, 1870 females) enrolled 2019 as 3220 (1326 1894 2017 All completed tests for years. results showed that exhibited decreased performance 1000-metre 800-metre runs, improved sit-and-reach test. After end isolation, there improvement run while no significant differences observed trends other tested indicators. Conclusion findings this indicate environment during COVID-19 had students, specifically terms endurance flexibility qualities, well male BMI. To better prepare future public health emergencies mitigate teaching exercises can be performed at should prioritized. Furthermore, education programs enhance student flexibility.

Introduction. Low levels of physical activity (PA) have become one society's major problems. Physical fitness is a predictor health. Objective. The present study investigates temporary changes in lower limb power, running speed, flexibility and cardiorespiratory before after COVID-19. Material & Method. Cross-sectional data were collected from 2.942 young people (17-21 years old) both sexes between 2011 2022. Performance was analyzed relation to the explosive strength limbs based on standing long jump (SLJ), (sit-and-reach), resistance (20 m Shuttle Run Test) speed (SP-30 m). Results. The results indicate significant (p<0.001) strong moderate (ES = 0.45 1.45) decreases shuttle run most periods for sexes, although decline women’s performance twice that men. SLJ also showed weak 0.07-1.86) decrease periods, with stronger sit-and-reach test did not demonstrate differences by either sex or period. In SP-30 m, 0.12) observed race time men only 2011-2022, while there 1.8-2.0) increases women some periods. Conclusions. silent pandemic inactivity sedentary behaviors has had greater effect than COVID-19 behavior. this gradual sustained reduction adults throughout past decade, which caused confinement due pandemic. This indicates level so low generate effects adult population. other words, behaviors. Keywords: Temporal trends, COVID-19, fitness, Maximal oxygen peak, Stretching.
