Ensuring widespread COVID-19 vaccine uptake is a public health priority in Canada and globally, particularly within communities that exhibit lower rates are at higher risk of infection. Public units (PHUs) have leveraged many resources to promote the recommended doses. Understanding barriers facilitators uptake, which strategies/resources been used address them date, may help identify areas where further support could be provided. We sought by PHUs first third doses among groups their jurisdictions. examined alignment these existing with behavioral science principles, inform potential complementary strategies/resources. reviewed online in-person three Ontario, (Black Eastern European populations, and/or neighbourhoods low or socioeconomic status). Abstract Background Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is a significant global health burden, particularly among people who inject drugs. Rapid point-of-care HCV testing has emerged as promising approach to improve detection and linkage care in harm reduction organizations such needle syringe programs. The objective of this study was use an intersectionality lens explore the barriers enablers program. Methods A qualitative conducted using semi-structured interviews with clients (people drugs) service providers large community organization focused on prevention sexually transmitted blood borne infections Montreal, Canada. An used alongside Theoretical Domains Framework guide formulation research questions well data collection, analysis, interpretation. Results We interviewed 27 participants (15 clients, 12 providers). For four themes emerged: (1) understanding perceptions testing, (2) role accessible inclusive environment, (3) interplay emotions motivations decision-making, (4) impact intersectional stigma related HCV, behaviors, identities. providers, five knowledge, skills, confidence for professional roles their intersection identity lived experience, resources integration services, social emotional factors, (5) behavioral regulation incentives testing. Intersectional amplified access, informational clients. In contrast, experience acted powerful provision care. Conclusion application provides nuanced multilevel Findings underscore need tailored strategies that address stigma, provider communication, foster environment equitable Using implementation can offer valuable insights, guiding design equity-focused strategies.

ABSTRACT During the pandemic, mobile vaccination units administered COVID‐19 shots to homebound populations. This study explores perspectives of public healthcare providers involved in Greece's home program, aiming identify challenges and inform improvements delivering services at home. is a cross‐sectional mixed‐methods survey with convergent design, conducted Primary Health Care facilities, using questionnaire. Facilities from all Districts were invited. The population included professionals administrative staff engaged units. Data collected April July 2022. Quantitative data analyzed descriptive statistics univariate linear regression analysis, while qualitative underwent thematic analysis. Integration analysis phase enhanced understanding reliability. was approved by Bioethics Committee Aristotle University Thessaloniki. A total 1200 participants 168 facilities across six responded. majority nurses (34.1%) general practitioners (24.7%). Participants unanimously praised program's concept, aligning it expressed readiness for future involvement, but reported time constraints. Those larger groups found management easier (1.68, 95% CI [1.28, 2.20], p < 0.001). Thematic 1070 text responses identified five themes, including guidance implementation, resource availability, field challenges, professionals' skillsets, engagement. Collaboration colleagues authorities address transportation problems proved vital success. Understaffing constraints evident. Integrating new service into busy settings poses underscoring need problem‐solving empowering personnel shortcomings.
