Background: Dentists, who frequently encounter potentially infected patients, have experienced significant changes worldwide due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of this study was evaluate impact fear COVID-19, depression, anxiety and stress on presence temporomandibular disorders (TMD), taking into account possible confounding variables, in Peruvian dental students during post-pandemic period. Methods: This analytical cross-sectional assessed 607 from two regions Peru. utilized Depression Anxiety Stress Scales-21 (DASS-21), Fear Scale (FCV-19S) Short Form Fonseca Anamnestic Index (SFAI). Possible variables were sex, age, year study, marital status, place origin, area residence, history mental illness living with people vulnerable COVID-19. For multivariable analysis, we a Poisson regression model an adjusted robust variance. significance level set at p < 0.05. Results: rates anxiety, stress, 47.0%, 50.4%, 35.9%, 30.6% 54.2%, respectively. Moreover, revealed that depression 38% 75% more likely compared those without (APR = 1.38, 95% CI: 1.15–1.66) 1.75, 1.44–2.13), Similarly, likelihood presenting 55% higher women than men 1.55, 1.28–1.87). Furthermore, found did not determine development (p > 0.05). Conclusions: Almost half TMD In addition, influential factors occurrence TMDs, female gender being risk factor. However, such as or significant.
