Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a disabling disease characterized by disruption blood supply to head, leading apoptosis and necrosis bone cells subsequent joint collapse. Total hip arthroplasty not optimal since most patients are young. Multiple risk factors contribute osteonecrosis, including glucocorticoid (GC) usage, excessive alcohol intake, hypercholesterolemia, smoking. Continuous stimulation many variables causes chronic inflammatory milieu, with clinical repercussions endothelial dysfunction, thrombosis, coagulopathy, poor angiogenesis. Immune primary regulators inflammation. Innate adaptive immune interact hinder regeneration repair lesions. An in-depth examination pathological drivers ONFH reveals that dysfunction may be major cause osteonecrosis. Understanding involvement in inflammation osteonecrosis could aid development possible therapies. This review summarizes role further explains pathophysiological mechanism this from perspective provide new ideas for treatment

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a prevalent autoimmune disease marked by chronic synovitis as well cartilage and bone destruction. Halofuginone hydrobromide (HF), bioactive compound derived from the Chinese herbal plant Dichroa febrifuga Lour., has demonstrated substantial anti-arthritic effects in RA. Nevertheless, molecular mechanisms responsible for anti-RA of HF remain unclear.
