ABSTRACT Introduction Pine needles are a rich source of bioactive compounds, and there few reports on the extraction identification active substances in various types pine needles. Objectives The objective this study is to enhance efficiency yield needle essential oil by employing an innovative ultrasonic‐assisted salt‐out hydrodistillation technology. It also aims establish correlation between gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) electronic nose (E‐nose) distinguish oils from Cedrus deodara , Pinus thunbergii massoniana koraiensis . Methods Optimal conditions will be determined through dynamic curve fitting response surface analysis. Essential analyzed E‐nose GC–MS coupled with chemometrics. Radical‐scavenging effects ·OH, DPPH·, ABTS + radicals, antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus evaluated. Results were 100 min distillation, 7.762% sodium chloride, 9.596‐mL/g liquid material ratio, 170.155‐W ultrasonic power. yields 0.144%, 0.214%, 0.425%, 0.852% for C. P. respectively. identified 74 volatile components. PLS‐DA revealed nine key including α ‐Myrcene, ‐Pinene, ‐Phellandrene, Limonene, Caryophyllene, Bornyl acetate, β Germacrene D, Camphene. PCA data highlighted sample differences. All exhibited antioxidant activities, linked ‐pinene, D. Conclusion This introduces efficient methods characterization oils, providing foundation applications enhancing product quality global innovation industry.

Background Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medicinal system that uses plants for their neuroprotective effects. claims the ( C. halicacabum ) leaves possess significant properties. Alzheimer’s characterized by accumulation of amyloid-β, acetylcholinesterase, and tau tangles interfere with neural transmission impair cognitive abilities. Objectives This study aimed to identify novel potential anti-Alzheimer phytoconstituents using in silico methods. Methods utilized Box–Behnken design within response surface methodology (RSM) optimize combine effects process variables, namely powder weight, solvent volume, extraction time, on microwave-assisted (MAE) leaves. The optimization revealed these along microwave usage, significantly influenced yield. ethanolic extract was examined gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC–MS) analysis, identified were further analyzed through computer-based simulations, including docking, absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, toxicity (ADMET) studies, assessment drug-likeness, molecular dynamics, LigPlot density functional theory (DFT) analysis. Results Gas (GC-MS) analysis 40 37 successfully characterized. Molecular docking dynamics simulations two lead compounds, acetic acid (dodecahydro-7-hydroxy-1,4b,8,8-tetramethyl-10-oxo-2(1H)-phenanthrenylidene)-,2-(dimethylamino)ethyl ester, [1R-(1. alpha)], 1-(2-hydroxyethoxy)-2-methyldodecane, which exhibited superior stability docked complex compared galantamine. Conclusion Based computational predictions observed pharmacological properties, findings suggest may have therapeutic against selected AD targets.

Abstract Genus Salvia is considered one of the largest genera family Lamiaceae with many recorded species and hybrids valuable biological importance. This study involved phytochemical characterization four (KNM23 ( S. fructicosa × officinalis ), KNM101 aramiensis KNM5 officinalis) KNM12 )) through measuring their total phenolic content (TPC) flavonoid (TFC) together profiling UPLC/MS n analysis followed by investigation antioxidant activities enzyme inhibitory potential different techniques. Hybrid KNM23 presented significantly high concentration both flavonoid, displaying a TPC 92.10 mg GAE/g TFC 50.85 RE/g. The resulted in tentative identification hundred eighty components from classes mainly flavonoids, acids, phenyl propanoids, tannins others. assay showed that hybrid KNM23, S . fruticosa , exhibited highest activity DPPH, ABTS, PBD assays, 436.38 mmol TE/g, 543.65 3.20 respectively. no inhibition AChE α ‐glucosidase. However, KMN12 demonstrated BChE tyrosinase 2.57 GALAE/g 12.91 KAE/g, Our results suggest can be as natural sources bioactive compounds development health‐promoting applications.
