Shift Work, Psychological Health Disorders, and Job Security Among Nurses: A Cross-Sectional Study DOI Open Access

Background/Objectives: Shift work is prevalent among nurses, often leading to adverse psychological effects, such as fatigue, depression, anxiety, and stress. Understanding how shift contributes health disorders can help healthcare organizations identify critical areas where support should be offered. This study aimed determine the relationships between work, disorders, job security nurses in Saudi Arabia. Methods: cross-sectional included 163 recruited via convenience sampling. Background: With the increasing frequency and severity of disasters, retaining skilled nurses is essential for sustaining healthcare systems in times crisis. Nowadays, nurses face many situations in practice that make them suffer from moral distress and ethical dilemmas, which turn may reduce their job satisfaction increase the risk of burnout. Neurological illnesses require thorough examinations and evidence-based care to minimize consequences enhance life quality. To analyze nurses' knowledge, practices, attitudes toward neurological identify associated challenges. A descriptive cross-sectional design was employed. total of 205 nurses from Kafr El Sheikh General Hospital were included in the study. Data collected using an electronic questionnaire composed two tools.
