Abstract Background The nursing profession is undergoing rapid transformation, requiring innovation in management approaches and proactive behaviors among staff. Nurse Managers play a vital role through managerial innovation, but its impacts on intensive care nurses’ proactivity locus of control remain underexplored. Objectives This study aimed to assess the levels Managers’ relate it orientations nurses. Methods A cross-sectional correlational design was adopted, recruiting 242 nurses from Tanta University Hospital, Egypt. Participants completed standardized questionnaires measuring perceived behavior, control. Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, hemşirelerin iş gücü verimliliğine ilişkin tutumları ve etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesidir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu çalışmaya 321 hemşire dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri “Katılımcı Tanıtım Formu” ile Özkoç (2005) tarafından geliştirilen “Hastanelerde İşgücü Verimliliğine Etki Eden Faktörler Çalışanların Verimliliği Konusundaki Tutumları” anket formu toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan %44,86’sının 20-25 yaş grubunda, %87,8’sinin kadın, %53,28’nin bekar, %85,5’inin lisans mezunu olduğu saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin %45,79’unun 1 yıl altında çalışma yılına sahip %43,5’inin dahili birimlerde %65,4’ünün vardiyalı çalıştığı, %51’nin verimliliği ilgili kendisini “iyi” seviyede değerlendirdiği bulunmuştur. RESUMO Objetivo: Compreender como ocorreu a gestão do cuidado de enfermagem no contexto da pandemia COVID-19. Método: Estudo qualitativo, realizado em hospital universitário São Paulo, Brasil. A amostra constituiu-se oito enfermeiras que atuaram pacientes positivados para coleta dados foi realizada por meio entrevista semiestruturada sobre experiências na enfrentamento pandemia. Na análise dos dados, utilizaram-se temática e interpretação partir psicodinâmica trabalho. Resultados: Os resultados permitiram construção três categorias temáticas: O invisível limita: biossegurança, sofrimento, incerteza medo pandemia, proteger-se garantir proteção outro; Instrumentos processo trabalho gerencial: treinamento equipe, dimensionamento pessoal, materiais, prática criativa diante insuficiência; as competências implicadas com o coletivo, equipe liderança. Conclusão: COVID-19 permeada condições objetivas subjetivas, situações prazer, medo, insegurança adaptação criativa. As liderança, quando presentes, podem amenizar sofrimento vigente enfermagem.

ABSTRACT Objective: To understand how nursing care management occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: A qualitative study conducted at a university hospital in São Paulo, Brazil. The sample consisted of eight nurses who worked caring for patients tested positive COVID-19. Data collection was carried out through semi structured interviews about experiences managing coping with Thematic analysis and interpretation based on psychodynamics work were used data analysis. Results: results allowed constructing three thematic categories: invisible that limits: biosafety, distress, uncertainty fear pandemic, protecting oneself ensuring protection others; Management process instruments: team training, staff sizing, materials management, creative practice face insufficiency; competencies involved team, teamwork leadership. Conclusion: Care permeated by objective subjective conditions, situations pleasure, fear, insecurity adaptation. Teamwork leadership competencies, when present, can alleviate distress occurs work.
