Chronic illnesses among older adults require effective self-management strategies. Community health coaching, which provides personalized guidance and support, has shown promise in improving behaviors patient activation. This study examines the impact of coaching on investigates mediating role A cross-sectional was conducted with 200 chronic attending primary healthcare centers Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Data were collected using Patient Activation Measure (PAM-13), Self-Management Behavior Scale (SMBS), Health Coaching Perception Questionnaire (HCPQ). Multiple regression mediation analyses to assess relationships between activation, behaviors. significantly associated improved (β = 0.42, p < 0.001). To learn about the risk practices for foot complications among patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and role of nursing in promoting self-care, light Dorothea Orem. RESUMO Objetivo: Conhecer as práticas de risco para complicações nos pés entre os pacientes com Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 e o papel da enfermagem na promoção do autocuidado, à luz Dorothea Orem. Método: Estudo abordagem qualitativa, ancorado no referencial metodológico História Oral Temática. Foi realizado por meio entrevistas semiestruturadas 39 em Arapiraca/AL, período agosto a setembro 2023. As foram transcritas, textualizadas transcriadas, base metodológico. Resultados: Os participantes apresentaram pés, devido sapatos inadequados, aquecedor uso instrumentos corte das unhas inadequado andar descalço. A enfermagem, sob perspectiva Orem, é essencial autocuidado dos usuários porque exerce orientação que impede ou mitiga pés. As the prevalence of diabetes increases among elderly population, effective management becomes increasingly crucial. IoT mobile applications offer promising solutions for care by providing real-time monitoring, medication management, and lifestyle support. This paper aims to investigate potential challenges in managing patients. Three databases including Scopus, Web Science, IEEE were systematically searched; 29 articles screened final analysis process. Key results indicate that application apps includes blood glucose adherence, promotion physical activity, dietary control. Devices such as continuous monitors smart pill dispensers significantly improve glycemic control adherence rates, these technologies enable tracking, personalized feedback, timely interventions, which enhance self-management communication with healthcare providers. Background: Vitamin D deficiency has reached epidemic proportions globally. Observational data link low vitamin status to diabetes, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome, but interventional trials on the effects of supplementation are limited. Objective: We investigated associations between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin (25(OH)D) levels markers in Saudi adults. Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study analyzed clinical records 476 patients from Arabia, aged 15–78 years. According 25(OH)D levels, participants were stratified as D-sufficient (≥30 ng/mL), -insufficient (21–29 or -deficient (≤20 ng/mL). The outcomes diabetic (fasting glucose, HbA1c) lipid panel results. Results: Higher diabetes prevalence was significantly associated with lower (10.1% sufficient group, 11.6% insufficient 18.3% deficient group). Similarly, worse profiles more severe hypovitaminosis D, including a total cholesterol level ≥240 mg/dL (5.3% normal vs. 18.9% those levels) LDL ≥ 160 (6.9% 13.2% levels). disproportionately affected women adults > 45 years old. The growing aging population presents unique challenges in maintaining their quality of life (QoL), which encompasses physical, psychological, and social wellbeing. This study aimed to assess the impact multidisciplinary collaboration on QoL among older patients receiving primary care. A cross-sectional was conducted involving a purposive sampling 200 participants aged 60 years above from Primary Healthcare Centers Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, between March May 2024. Data were collected using standardized tools: SF-36 for health-related QoL, Multidisciplinary Collaboration Evaluation Tool (MCET), Lubben Social Network Scale (LSNS). Abstract Background The nursing profession is undergoing rapid transformation, requiring innovation in management approaches and proactive behaviors among staff. Nurse Managers play a vital role through managerial innovation, but its impacts on intensive care nurses’ proactivity locus of control remain underexplored. Objectives This study aimed to assess the levels Managers’ relate it orientations nurses. Methods A cross-sectional correlational design was adopted, recruiting 242 nurses from Tanta University Hospital, Egypt. Nurses working in palliative and end-of-life care settings face significant emotional challenges due to the demanding nature of their profession. This study aimed explore resilience these nurses, understanding factors that contribute resilience, impact on professional well-being performance, strategies enhance resilience. A qualitative was conducted involving 15 registered nurses from various healthcare facilities Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, document analysis, observational data. Thematic analysis employed identify recurring themes. Neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease pose significant challenges to older adults globally. While pharmacological treatments remain primary, increasing evidence supports the role of non-pharmacological strategies like physical activity in managing these conditions. This systematic review critically evaluates effectiveness Nursing based interventions improving cognitive function, functioning, mobility, overall quality life among with neurodegenerative diseases. We conducted a comprehensive search across PubMed, EMBASE, Web Science, CENTRAL, other relevant databases, focusing on randomized controlled trials observational studies that examined impact structured activity. Our findings from nineteen involving 1673 participants indicate ranging aerobic exercises, resistance training, mind-body exercises Tai Chi yoga have beneficial effects. Specifically, was consistently found enhance performance, increase improve balance daily living activities, contributing better life. However, benefits vary depending type, intensity, duration performed.
